That person receives a percentage of the profit. The shopping experience was a bit overwhelming, so give yourself plenty of time. The more you put into prepping your consignment items, the more $$ you'll walk away with. If you volunteer time, you can shop earlier than the crowds and have more choices. It's a great way to "level up" your stuff to get rid of the baby supplies and get new-to-you older kid things, but the vast majority of the sale is younger kids/baby things.

I bought a high end outfit here for I think 6.99 when it would have been about 19.99 or more at Wild child in Liberty. And on occasion I can find them for .99 here. They do color tag sales.
