Incredible burgers and poutine! Be prepared to leave absolutely stuffed to the brim but so satisfied. I had their ode to the Big Mac and it was a giant, messy burger experience in the best way possible. Certainly worth the price! We also had the poutine to share, and as my first poutine experience I don't have anything to compare it to, but either way it was incredible. Wonderfully crisp fries smothered in a salty brown gravy and soft cheese curds. More mess = more deliciousness. read more

Very, very tasty food and friendly service but wish they had a few more healthier options.

The food was okay at best and no outdoor seating at this food truck. They only accept cash. This truck was advertised in the porter airline magazine. It was sit down restaurant prices for fast food quality. Just not good value for my dollar spent. The chicken burger & fries & separate poutine came to $28. The chicken was all breading and very little meat. The poutine was average. Also I was thirsty for the entire day I will not be back. read more

I really liked the honey bbq chicken tenders and the dill sauce that came with it. But the poutine side was really really salty and really put a damper on the experience. If I just had the chicken tenders I'd give it a 4 or a 5 out of 5 but if I had just the poutine, I'd give it a 1. For $28, it was not great but I really wanted to love it. read more

I love grab and go food so I was very excited to see another food truck to try in this city which is very lacking in them. Ordered a burger, fries, and gravy. Other than the gravy the meal was great and my only regret was eating it all in one sitting as there was way too much for one person. The price seemed a bit high at first but that was because i was expecting something the quality of fast food, but this was a burger far more angled towards the gourmet side. For both the quality and the quantity you get its a good price. I will definitely be back again as this is one of the best burgers ive had in this city. read more

Even in the midst of a pandemic, Johnnie and Mae's has a sensible system for ordering food and a very orderly arrangement for drive-through pickup. The burgers are excellent. Mama are those chicken burgers spicy! The fries are delicous and the portions are very generous. We will be back for another round! read more

Had the obese chicken / dad bod burger combo. While the food was okay, the price of $50 for 2 burgers, fries, gravy and 2 cans of pop is way too steep. On top of that, there's absolutely no substitutions and we had to place the order almost a week in advance. I'd probably try the food again, but certainly not at that price. read more

I had the mckenna burger and it was excellent, as were the fries. It was $16 altogether which I think is a more than fair price. The serving was VERY fast. I had my order placed and food in my hands within 2 minutes. Definitely would go back again. read more
