Thank you to manager Troy, who hails from the lovely state of Queensland, Australia, baristas know how to make a coffee (at least that's what I think!). At the bottom of signal hill, it's on the way from a hike, and not too far out of the way if you want to pick a coffee up on the way to work. We walked to both places so driving and parking was not a problem. Interestingly there were a lot of classic vehicles going by. You can order beer, cocktails, soup, sandwiches and even coffee. We sat outside at the deck. It was really nice to sit and watch the people, cars and motorcycles pass by. The sandwiches ar interesting and not oversized or over priced. There is secure WiFi although it seemed to have difficulty reaching the deck. If you walked to Signal Hill you should stop at the Battery Cafe because you'll walk right past it and you deserve it. The Newfoundland sundae with jam and ice cream is worth ordering on a warm day.
