He never gave us the inspection report. The work he did on the septic was poor. He used cheap (rock-filled) soil. We had to spend another $1,000 to fix it. Rather than back filling the sink hole with rock and making sure the ground was stable, he backfilled it with dirt which collapsed at the first big rain. He placed the Dbox at the edge of the sink hole, with the distribution pipe going across the sink hole. When the ground gave way, the system cracked and broke. When contacted, Chuck claimed this was not his responsibility. When I harrassed him enough, he came out and said the hole was not big deal, the system was fine and he'd fill it, which he never did. Got bids from two other companies both of whom said he failed to backfill the sinkhole properly before installing the system and that the pipes and dbox cracked. We paid the new company to do it right. Chuck Sweed is dishonest, does not stand by his work nor does he care about the customer. Avoid this company like the plague!
