Do these photos look 85% complete? Last week, Cary breached our contract and walked away when I pushed to understand when the work would be completed after *months* of delays. He didn't pick up my phone calls and when he said he'd call back, he didn't. Cary is all lip service. He will tell you about the high quality work he does and then give you every excuse in the book about why he can't work or why the work is delayed (my favorite: his dog stole his glasses from his bedside table). He will quote his wife's great-grandmother saying, "people are incredible, they can see a fly sitting on someone's head but they can't see an elephant sitting on their own nose." Um, what? The amount of time and money I have wasted is infuriating. I trusted Cary and was patient with him and he took advantage of that. This is how he left my apartment, which previously had a fully functioning bathroom and kitchen. A totally destroyed mess with paint all over the new floors, rotting food in the fridge, and cigarette butts outside the entryway. Don't waste your time dealing with his mismanagement and poor communication. I have never felt so disrespected or violated in my life. The fact that his business is called The Expert Craftsman is laughable.

When things did go long or cost more money he was completely transparent, and took responsibility when it had to anything to do with him. The work we have done was ripping off our top floor and rebuilding from the ground up. New floor, walls, roof, bathroom - everything. He also gutted and rebuilt our downstairs bathroom and kitchen. All that work took under 6 months, and with all of the supply chain issues, it was remarkable. I now have the home of my dreams. I cannot give a bigger recommendation. Therefore, they had to remove the 3 layers, replace some of the plywood, and then replace the gutter-covers. They did a great job. They were very professional, finished faster than they said they would, and ended up charging us less than they initially said they would. One thing that really impressed me was that when something fell on a railing on our porch and cracked it, as soon as I pointed that out Sheeley agreed to replace it without hesitation, they went out purchased the replacement, and installed it without me having to lift a finger. When a company lives up to their mistakes like that it really shows their true value. These guys were not the cheapest option out there, but they were very well worth the extra cost.

Kelly got back right away to schedule an appointment with General Manager Steve, who came out and walked us through the process, giving a clear breakdown of pricing and answering any questions that arose along the way. Day of install, the crew was incredible - fast and precise with safety a top priority (ropes/harnesses etc.). Front and back of the house was draped with debris nets, protecting flower beds and siding during demo. Garrett, project manager and liaison between crew and homeowner, was very affable and kept us informed on the progress. By mid-morning the roof was off and ice and water shield was going on. By 5:30 the shingles were on and the yard was swept, even utilizing a wheeled magnet to syphon any rogue nails that may have landed in the grass. The charcoal architectural shingle with black drip edge looked sharp with clean edges, giving our home a more modern look while not breaking the bank. Sheeley offers an incredible decades-long warranty on their roofs, which is even transferable to future owners should you decide to sell. It's amazing to watch a crew firing on all cylinders and complete a project in one day - only wish we had set up a time-lapse! Hands down a great experience and we can't recommend them enough. Look around on your next drive and see all the Sheeley signs at the end of driveways - there's a reason for that!
