The leak was slow enough to be filled and driven off, but the next morning (today) I woke up to a flat. Graham was able to take me in on a Thursday morning with virtually no wait. The tire was repaired and I was on my way within a half hour. Not bad considering it seemed busy, with several other vehicles being worked on at the same time. The tire light went off and I've been driving without losing any more air. Now I can continue my roadtrip without a major setback. Thanks!

I was two hours away from any town that could provide service to me. Thankfully I have roadside assistance but they had a very difficult time finding someone to go that far out to help me. The first 4 companies that "accepted" the call later stood me up. I sat on the side of the highway for almost 10 hours when the very kind gentleman from Shad's came to my rescue. He arrived at 11:15pm and work diligently to remove the spare on had on the back of the RV. I had sat for so long with the generator running I had nearly run out of gas. This man was concerned enough he was worried I would break down again and said I could follow him an extra hour out of his way to be sure I found gas. He looked at the lugs again to be sure I was safe to continue my travels another 2 1/2 hours to destination. I can't say thank you enough!!! Now that alone doesn't necessarily rate the five stars. But what does rate it is the way you're made to feel like you're a regular customer. And one more thing, a week after my visit we were hit with a pretty heavy snowfall. I found myself stuck trying to get exit Garfield onto a side road. The very same mechanic who helped me with the tire stopped and helped me get free and on my way. And reluctantly accepted payment only after my grateful insistence. My family was heading east on I-90 from visiting Badlands National Park when the tire pressure warning showed low tire pressure in one of the tires. I pulled off highway and noticed a nail or screw in the tire and knew we had to drive on the donut to get somewhere that could fix the flat. Unfortunately we were 900 miles from home and it was the Sunday before the 4th of July at 3pm in the afternoon so we figured we were going to be taking rural highways to the nearest large city of Sioux Falls in hope of finding some place open on the 4th of July. My wife called two of the closest places we found on Google maps and both had recordings that they were out until after the holidays. To our surprise, Vernard picked up the phone and said that they were closed, but to come on in and he'd take a look. We had to drive about an hour at 50mph on the spare tire and the gentleman not only waited for us, but called to check if we were OK during our hour drive. When we arrived, he had the tire fully repaired within 20 minutes of us arriving and then charged us his standard tire repair rate on a day when his shop was actually closed. We thanked him and gave him more than what he was trying to charge us and we were then on our way. A small 1.5 hour deviation from a family road trip was so worth it and showed myself and my family the importance of being kind humans to each other and served as a reminder to always go out of your way to help others in need.

Soon, though, one of the guys came in and asked if he could help me. I told him I needed an oil change and tire rotation. He took down all my information and I even gave him my cell number. I asked him to call me when it was done and I'd stop back to pick it up. After three hours and no phone calls I called them and ask if my vehicle was done. They said yes, It had been done for sometime. So I went out and paid the bill and started to leave when I noticed there was no oil change sticker in the top corner of my windshield. I went back in and told the guy that there was no oil change sticker in my car. He said that they are printed out automatically when the oil change is completed. I said there wasn't one in my car. He went over and checked the machine and said it wasn't left in the machine. He also said that he couldn't print out a new sticker. So I said why don't you just give me a sticker and I'll fill it out by hand, which he did. I did notice that they did not clean the windows nor vacuum out the vehicle like most of the other oil change places I've gone to do. Just sayin. Will I be back??? Probably not.
