They don't have dine in as an option anymore and no access to restrooms. The service is good and so is the food. The atmosphere is my main complaint. It's very just a kitchen. While debating giving a 4 or 3 I noticed a sign that says, "No one wants to work anymore!!!" which is code for not paying employees enough. If you're looking for some good crispy fried fish, this would be your place. They have really good fried rice. They normally load it up full of onions, so I usually tell them no onions. The only downside is that it takes a while for you to get your food. It doesn't matter if you place the order online if you call in your order, or if you stand in the long line to place your order, you're gonna have a long wait... I would recommend that you place your order online and then add 15 minutes to the time that the online order tells you. Lol My go to order is either tilapia or flounder. I can't believe I've never reviewed this place. I've been eating here forever. I'm pretty simple when it comes to my fish. I like Bream, preferably fresh water, and I like it split and fried medium - not too hard and not too soft. I'm not a fried rice at a fish joint kind of girl so I never get a combo. I love french fries but theirs are just ok. I simply like about 2-3 pieces a slice of bread in case I swallow a bone and hot sauce. They are thorough and quick. Just know if you've never been there, there's usually a nice crowd especially toward the latter part of the week. Fridays are really busy. There is not alot of parking either so expect to park where you can on those busy days. You can eat in. There are a few spaces to do so. Fresh Fish has no odor.), the Service is fast and the Price is cheap. There is no indoor seating and, like a lot of places, they are short staffed so be patient. Ordered the Catfish w/ Coleslaw & Fries, Whiting w/ Shrimp LoMein, Hush Puppies and Fried Oysters. Fish was on point, fried regular, generous portions and again very fresh w/ great tarter sauce on the side. Coleslaw, Fries & Lomein were also generous portions but not that great. I called to speak to a manager about the matter and was told by the woman whom gave me the order to call back at 8:30pm to speak to her manager, after she lied saying she was the manager from the start of the conversation. I called back and of course No Answer because they close at 9pm. The next day, I became so sick to my stomach,(TMI) my Monday was mainly spent in the bathroom. I only had this mess on Sunday and I am warning you all...Do Not Bother coming here!!! Your Stomachs and Butt Will Pay A Price!!! I tried to talk to this establishment about this situation but they seem to not care about what they are feeding Us so here goes! On yesterday, I purchased 3 fish dinners for about $30 dollars. I was given three small containers of tarter sauce and requested additional containers and was told they would charge $1. In the past, I have not been hassled like this. I love their food but the next time I visit, I will BMOYTS (bring my own tarter sauce. This use to be my mother's lunch spot. You could catch her here almost always. She put me on to this place. I use to enjoy it. More fish markets started to open up in the area and this restaurant became last on our list. We were in the area today and decided to check them out again and see if the food was still as good as it was. I can say it was ok. I have been spoiled by my usual spots so it's really hard to compete with them. We both got the filleted Tilipia lunch special. It came with shrimp fried rice or french fries and coleslaw. I got the shrimp fried rice and my mother got the french fries and coleslaw. It took them a while to cook the food and the restaurant was pretty empty at this time. The fish had an ok flavor to it. I'm use to at least 6 pieces of fish and I only got 4 here. The rice was very bland. I had to add soy sauce to it to make it edible. I can say that the tea has really improved. It use to taste like they made it from syrup but now it taste like they brew it daily. I might check them out every once in a while but I doubt it.
