I had eaten there in the past and it was always good so I was very critical during my 3 visits for this review. I went twice and ate in the restaurant and once through the drive through after calling in an order. Both visits inside the restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and well groomed, and the food was delicious. There sizes are great. You are going to be leaving with a togo box. I had a Stromboli that was excellent but could only eat half of, and the next day I had a delicious personal sized pepperoni pizza. The crust was perfect and the toppings were of good quality. The third visit, I ordered a ham and cheese hoagie sandwich, whole. You can order it in half and a whole. They said 15 minutes, I drove over and there was a line but they were churning and burning in the kitchen because the line was moving pretty steady. I got to the window after about 7 minutes. Gave my name, it was ready, I even tried to shake it up a bit by adding an unsweet tea to the order at the window. The young lady rang it in without missing a beat, I paid with my card, she handed it back and out of nowhere someone just hands her an unsweet tea and Im out of there. They rolled it like a nascar pit crew. Good food. Good service. Clean facilities. Friendly atmosphere. Fast service. Large portions. Also, their tea is really good. Not burnt or soured or metal tasting from being in the urn that hasnt been cleaned well too long. +1 Southerner point.

This establishment never is consistent with an order and has many excuses why. I was also told when I said I would decide if I wanted to come back that they had plenty of business and didn't need mine. Terrible that we try and support local businesses and this is how they thank you for supporting them. Having driven from Houston to Natchez and staying at a local hotel, we wanted some pizza and salad…read more We found Country Pie Pizza Company on Yelp and saw that they were only open for drive thru pick up. That was fine as we were tired from driving. However, when we showed up to pick up our order, they were actually open for dine in. The girl who brought out our order was so kind to provide everything we needed to eat back at our hotel-plenty of napkins, utensils and condiments. She knew we were traveling and asked about our travels and was very friendly and kind. Our pizza was delicious-a small pepperoni, green olive and onion. We each ordered a Caesar salad, not knowing how big they were. One salad could definitely feed 2 people. The salads were so fresh, with plenty of beautiful grated Parmesan cheese and croutons. I wish we had a Country Pie Pizza Company near our home. Oh well. Try it, you'll like it!

The first steak was nowhere near 16 ounces, was maybe 1/4 inch thick, very fatty/gristly and came out medium. Honestly, it looked like something you'd get at Waffle House. Frankly, the Waffle House steak would've been better and A LOT cheaper! We requested another steak, AGAIN asking that it be cooked rare. The owner personally brought it to the table, but unfortunately, it was just as disappointing. It didn't even look like a ribeye, was still maybe 1/4 inch thick, was even smaller than the first one & certainly didn't appear to be 16 ounces (MAYBE 10oz), was even more fatty/gristly, had no deep grill/char marks, and was gray in color--like it was boiled. Once again, it was cooked medium instead of rare. The guest took one bite of the remade steak after cutting away all the fat/gristle and literally packed the steak up to take home for the dog. We asked to have the $30 steak removed from the bill, but the owner refused, claiming it had been eaten. The guest then unpacked the steak and showed the waitress that only one bite had been taken. Even after the owner seeing this, the owner STILL refused to remove the charge. Absolutely poor customer service! I have never been to a restaurant where, when something was prepared incorrectly or a customer was clearly dissatisfied, the staff--let alone the owner--wouldn't at least attempt to make things right. This was especially frustrating after two disappointing steaks were prepared incorrectly and left virtually uneaten. Mistakes happen, and not every meal will be perfect. However, how a restaurant handles a problem says a lot about its customer service. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing, and the owner's refusal to address the situation made it even worse. Word of mouth goes a LONG way, and our group has already shared this experience with others and advised them against visiting or recommending this establishment. Based on our experience, we certainly won't be returning. BTW, look on their website reviews, you'll see complaints of the poorly made 16oz ribeye, roaches in food & in restaurant & rude owner--I didn't see these reviews until after our awful experience here.
