They are very respectful and understand the trials of a military veteran in regards to the time consuming process of applying for Veterans Affairs (VA) resources and services. I was able to get some emergency food, clean clothes, socks, hygiene products as well as opportunity to work gigs to make money through Veterans Rebuilding Life (VRL) non-profit's huge list of supporters. I feel blessed to have stumbled on this non-profit that really does what they say to change the narrative of how veterans are being treated in this country. If your a person who's interested in donating to a non-profit that really gets to the root of the problem and provides a solution think of VeteransRebuildingLife.org they can use your donations to help more veterans like myself get on their feet. So a few questions arise? How much money annually are they getting? Where is all that money going? On a few occasions I have attended a few gatherings in the banquet hall and each time has been a smashing success. Typically, functions are run internally and externally by an Ad Hoc committee comprised by whom ever is renting the hall, or, in this case, the American Legions staff. Ten dollars gets you in the door which guarantees each patron all the soda, beer, coffee and tea y'all can drink. Plus hotdogs, baked beans, potato & macaroni salads to eat. November 19th's event was the annual Turkey Shoot which was mainly composed of raffles with tremendous prizes donated my many local merchants. One dollar buys you a ticket, and the rounds continue until all prizes are won, totalling close to twenty rounds. All proceeds are donated to the veterans, which is one of the finest causes for our disposable income to go.
