I am a VIP member at John's Auto spa. The value is great for the monthly membership. I get the tsunami plan and go about 2 times a week. The employees at the computer screens/ gates are always friendly no matter the time of day or business. I love the vacuums that are available on both sides of the vehicle. They also have big shades over the stalls for shade. The employees are always right near by, keeping all the stalls clean and ready to go! I am a VIP member. I signed up not long after they opened. Over the past couple of years since Johns Auto Spa opened on MckInley & Grape, I have had so many problems with them. I have tried calling their "corporate" and can never get anyone to answer the phone or even return my call when I have left several messages. So many times I have driven to get a wash and they are not opened, during business hours. Not long ago they were closed for 5 days straight. Their sign only said Closed for Maintenance. But, there was nobody there. Not in the morning, afternoon or evening. I pay nearly $100 a month there and cannot even get a phone call back Amongst several other negative experiences, the most recent being I pull in to vacuum my car which I haven't been able to do in a while. I am vacuuming, I haven't been there long at all and the girl comes over and tells me there are signs saying a 10 min time limit. Who can vacuum their whole car within 10 mins?? She proceeds to tell me that I could finish this time but keep in mind for next time. Ok, will do. However, not even a min later, and I am just about done, some kid comes and tells me that I have to leave because I have been there longer than 10 mins an poceeds to take a picture of my license plate. So, I tell him your co-worker told me 30 seconds ago that I could finish, so what are you gonna do, call the police because I'm finishing. Seeing he was taking a picture of my plate. I was finished at that moment and was putting my things back in place in my car. I i'm done with them because it's always something. Last week I got stuck in the wash. No explanations, no apology. Just an "oh well, not my problem" from the worker. A month ago coming out of the wash a bunch of white something fell on my windsheild. I told the worker and she told me to go through the wash again. I went through 3 times and each time the stuff on my windsheild got worse. The only thing I got from her was "sorry for your luck"!!!! Mind you I couldn't even see out my windsheild. I came home and had to climb up on top of the car to scrape off whatever that stuff was and still coudn't get it all off. Save yourself the huge headache of dealing with this place that clearly does not care about their customers and has no communication at all read more

In town and needed my car washed. Great friendly service. You can pull up and use the automated machine or pull in a lane with the attendant. An attendant walked me through the process. Different packages with $10 basic being the minimum. My windows didn't fully get clean so they let me go back through before vacuuming. Self Vacuum is free for ten minutes which is plenty of time. I enjoyed the service so much I bought a giftcard for my sister. read more

I'm sorry to have to say this, but, I have been going to John's since it opened. I have never had a problem with the employees. They always treated me like gold. Always smiles on there faces. I really liked this place til today. I took my vehicle in and I always get the Monsoon. I noticed going through that the power was not so great. It had hardly any power. I know that this happens because I have been to car washes that spit out nothing sometimes. I had an appt to go to Then I went back and the same woman was at the window. I told her that my Vehicle was not that clean and told her about the power, She said no refunds, I washed your vehicle go through and it was clean, I said it was on the back. I have a VW bus and I usually vacuum. I didn't today. I wish I had Because this woman is lying. Well, here's the shocker. She was the owner.!!!! I should have asked to see the video. I may go back and still ask. I asked to talk to mgmt, And she said she was the owner, That place had no cars today when I was there around 12:30 Obviously, she was trying to make her quota today. And picks on people that complain. This was the very first time I have complained. Well, I will miss the help there. All the owner had to do was let me go through again. I would have even taken the smallest wash. This owner of John's needs to take some advice to her workers and treat her clients better than she did today. Grumpy ole woman. read more

Best Car Wash, I tried them all! I only wish they would do interior cleaning. I highly recommend them.

Update: I found out from the owner of the car wash from my 1 star Google review that it wasn't it the brush that hit me but an idiot that put there into drive inside the car wash. The bad thing is I can't get the people at the car wash nor the owners to respond back after countless visits, emails or an accident report on there website I was recently at John's Auto spa and got my back bummer cracked. The large long brush some how smashed into my car and cracked my back bumper. I believe they or another car got to close to me but not sure, all I know is if I didn't have my seat belt on the hard lunge that I felt would of put me through my car window. Since I was in a rush to take my friend to his cancer treatment after I left the car wash I didn't inspect my car which will probably screw me now. I reported it the next day to a tall blonde guy. I guess if they don't do anything about it I will stop sending people there and go to a closer car wash like Mike's car wash since John's is out of the way for me or just got back to do self serve like I have in the past. read more

This place just opened up, I went there yesterday for the first time. Very nice place people were very nice it was clean end it did a fairly good job I got the tsunami which includes hot wax rain X triple foam under body rust inhibitor and we'll break it was $17. The only thing that I have to say negative is my car was still pretty wet when it was done. It was clean but still very wet. I will go back, it's not much different than Parkwood or drive and shine. It had been several months since visiting a car wash. I was disappointed with this visit. Purchased the best wash/wax tier and finished with corner pass side windshield and part of pass side window dirty and clearly no tire shine. I'm not even sure the wheels were really that clean and no tire shine for sure. Makes me have to wonder if all those premium extras were dispensed. I don't feel there was much value to the cost. Won't be back unless they address the issues read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm taking my business back to Drive and Shine. I should have never washed my car here. Their vacuums are horrible and the chemicals they used messed up my paint. Plus their brushes left scratches. They would even do anything about it. read more

Paid $21 for the monsoon, my rims and tires were still dirty and had dirt smears from the brushes. I got the $17 the first time i went and it did a much better job. Must have been out of wheel brite and tire shine today. And they wouldn't let me use the screen myself. I'm an adult and know how they work. Look, I've enjoyed the use of this car wash and their vacuums for some time; we have two memberships for which we pay $1200/year. Not that this is a problem, you understand. What is a problem is that every time there is a light shower, the wash is closed, and the employees take their sweet time reopening. Today was no exception. I was running an errand, the rain had stopped some time ago, so I pulled in. Cones in front of the gates, employees inside clearly horsing around, and so I pulled around to the vacuums through the cut through which is not blocked off. Not to vacuum, you underdressed, but just to clean the windshield with my own glass cleaner and cloth. One of the aforementioned employees came out of the building and informed me that I needed to purchase a wash and was not welcome in the parking lot. Ok, I say. I'm a VIP member and spend a lot of money here. I don't need the wash, but just a safe place to clean the window that I can't see out of. I have to leave, he says, but will be welcome back when they actually decide to open the wash which will be in a few minutes. I ask why I cannot simply use the parking lot to clean my windshield with my own supplies. He says that he is simply a worker and that the 'Big Boss' has said that nobody is allowed to use the parking lot, even customers. If that is the attitude of John's Car Wash, then the employees and the 'Big Boss' need some remedial customer service classes and a heavy dose of common sense. For the record, I ran my errand and noticed passing back by the wash that it was still not open despite the bright sunshine outside. I did get a nice view, for the second time, of the employees laughing and joking inside. It must be nice to screw around while working, keeping your place of business closed while loyal customers are not allowed to use the facility, or even be on the premises. read more
