Pulled in to Mike's car wash with our vehicle operating and in normal working condition. During the car wash we heard a loud click, when the car wash was complete we tried to exit. We could not make a right hand turn so we limped into the parking lot of Martin's. Listening to a terrible grind/thud sound. Immediately we went back into Mike's car wash office to have them look at the car and preserve the video footage. We have filed a claim and of course, received a letter denying any accountability. I am surprised by all the negative reviews. I needed a quick carwash in the area. This place is quick and very effective. I paid $11 for a basic wash and I was very happy with the speed and quality of the wash. My car came out sparkly clean and I was in and out of there in less then 10 minutes, even tho there was a long line or cars when I arrived. Besides the traditional drive-thru wash you might see at a gas station, there is an attendant before you enter the tunnel. They use a soapy brush to manually scrub off any stuck-on dirt from your car. The wash tunnel has two different cleaning stages. Soft cloth then soft brushes. After that you go through the rinse and finally the dry. I don't know what all you get for the more premium washes, but I chose the most basic option and I'm very happy with the results. read more

Went there for a basic car wash and ended up getting a whole experience! Jayden was super friendly and outgoing to make sure every speck was power washed. Definitely will be returning to get some books and to see Jayden. read more

Quick in and out. I was in desperate need for a car wash after parking under a tree that a family of birds were in. I got the second best car wash offer which was close to $20. Unfortunately there were still a couple spots on my car when I was done, but my car looked so much better. read more

Friendly staff, less than satisfactory results, at least for my car. Everytime I go through the wash, ugly streaks are left on my back window. Every single time. The rinse and dry is not effective. I probably would not have even posted this, except that I just had my car washed at the dealership, and wow, what a difference. I recently went back to get my car washed, on the free wash that they gave me because of the other one being so bad. Again the same thing as happened they left white spots all over my car. this time they did not bend my license plate, I'm not quite sure what the big deal is about this car wash it seems to be a little lower than average and a bit higher than average price! I stand behind my two star rating because they did wash the dirt off my car but left it covered in white spots , so much for the spot free rinse!!!!! read more

Terrible experience. Poor communication and 0 guidance led to our front bumper being broken and truck being deeply scratched. Our claim was summarily dismissed by an impersonal form letter. After we followed up, manager insisted we should have magically known that they were ready for us to go through and therefore it was entirely our fault. A search online shows that many people have issues with Mike's damaging cars. read more

This place is a joke. Mikes wants to keep raising their prices and be the most expensive car wash in the area but they can't even keep their stuff working. Their card readers at the vacuums have never worked, every time you want to vacuum your car have fun driving around to 5 different ones to find one that works. If it does work good luck having the nozzle stay on while using it. And forget their bill breaking machine I'm pretty sure I've never seen it working, it's always "out of currency". They basically want you to not have singles so you have to purchase more time on their shitty machines. Mikes is successful bc they have a great location nothing else. read more

First I would like to mention that all of the young men and ladies that work here are so nice and polite. They always have a smiling face and are always upbeat! I read some of the other reviews about the quality of the wash, and both my husband and I think it does a great job! He has a large F150 and I have a small SUV, and for a drive thru car wash this does a better job then any around that we have used in my opinion. Discovered my car had been egged, unfortunately didn't notice until the sun had baked it on the car. Drove up to Mike's and the service attendant radioed the sprayer to really spray the car down. I was told if the egg was still on the car to come around and drive through a few times at no extra cost. I had to drive through 3 times before the egg came off but was only charged for one wash. I thought that was pretty nice of them to do that for me. read more

This is by far one of my favorite car washes in the area. Always smiling happy staff and a car wash that does a fantastic job of cleaning my Explorer. Prices can be a little bit on the high side but you have to remember that it's a decent wash and they really do take care of there employees and I realize that cost money. I know this is why many people are willing to pay the premium to come to Mike's. One last thing Mike's accepted my groupon that was way expired not just for the face value I paid but for the full promotional value. Not many business would be willing to do that and for that I applaud and thank you Mike's. Went to Mike's car wash on Monday night 4/23/18 and they had a malfunction and my car went off the conveyor. It broke my rear washer blade. They were trying to blame me by saying I turned the wheel and sent me through it again and same thing happened. I was so mad. The manager who was about 20 yrs old and was incredibly rude. My granddaughter visited your Mishawaka location and told them she wanted the 10 minute oil change. That should have been $24.99 before tax, instead she gets an 8 point inspection and a free car wash totalling her $54, Big jump. She didn't ask for the inspection therefore she shouldn't have paid of it. Give the customer what they ask for and no more. Shame on you. read more

Em. J, Don't be fooled by the smiles. I worked there as a manager for 2.5 years, and the employees are forced to do that. They are also forced to wave and say Thank you a certain amount of times. The employees get in trouble if they aren't doing these things and the company also has "Secret Shoppers" come through that have a checklist and if they see you aren't doing these things, you get marked, and its EXTREMELY easy to fail. Two fails? You're gone! So don't think that all those smiles, waves, and "Thank you's" are Genuine. Yes, they do a great job cleaning cars....that cannot be argued. If your car is damaged, believe me when I say this....they won't be paying for it. They go to great lengths to keep those costs down and will find any slight reason to say they aren't responsible. All the managers are trained thoroughly on this. All the cars that I dealt with that were damaged, I believe we accepted responsibility for one, maybe two damages? Also, it costs them less than 30 cents to wash a car, so keep that in mind when you're paying $14-15. If you want a free wash immediately after you've been through, just tell them they missed something on the outside and they'll run you through again. When its so cheap for them to wash a car, and as much as you pay, why not go through twice? Hope this gives everyone some insight....... read more

Mike's Car Wash on Rt #4 in Fairfield does excellent work! My car is black and I do not see much streaking from the water as it dries. Mag wheels come through spotless and the glass all looks very good. With a coupon, this is the best $10.00 you will ever spend! read more

i have used this car wash on many different vehicles. i had been satisfied until i noticed scratches along the top, rear corner of my suv roof line when wiping it down. when i pointed them out to worker he just stood there and then walked away. he didn't even offer to try and get them out. pathetic way to do business. watch your vehicle closely. read more

I came here before I first visited Mike's Carwash. I read both (2) comments that were listed here. One was positive the other was negative. I decided to take a chance. As I pulled up, I was immediately approached by a staff member. I explained to him that I had never been here before, and did not know what services they offered. The staff member was nice enough to tell me a complete description of all of there different services and the cost of each one. He then walked next to my vehicle and walked me through the entire selection process. He stood right there with me and showed me how to choose the option that I wanted, helped me insert my money into the computer system and where to look for my change. He then explained to me how to pull up my truck to the entrance. He was very polite, friendly, and helpful. I remember he even told me to have a good day and thanked me for being a customer. As I drove around the corner and drove up to the entrance to the car wash, another staff member helped me to pull my truck up correctly and made sure that I was ready. The entire process was super fast and the ride through the car wash was, to my surprise, smooth. My truck looked great!! Later on that evening I noticed some small water spots on my truck windshield. I called up to Mike's Carwash and explained to them what I was seeing and the man immediately offered for me to drive back and get another pass through the wash to fix the problem. I really appreciated the offer, without having to "demand" it. He was also very polite and professional. I really like this place and plan on returning next time my truck needs a wash. I would, and already have, recommend this car wash to friends, family, and neighbors. read more
