They have a huge selection and every single one of their plants is big, beautiful, and in very healthy condition... something you'll never find at a big box store. They also have many plants that you will not find at mainstream places, such as banana trees. The employees here are very knowledgeable and helpful, which was really impressive. They gave me some tips on my hibiscus I had never gotten before and that have worked perfectly. My only complaint is that there doesnt seem to be prices on things. I do not like that at all. I am not here to price shop, but I do have a budget, and felt bad continually having to ask how much things were!

A tree we purchased 10 months ago has not been doing well. It has been properly planted and cared for-even "babied" along-and still not doing well. We are not at all new to tree planting or basic knowledge, so to have this kind of issue is very very rare for us. We have inquired back with Browns 3 times now as to what we can do to help this tree make it, and have gotten zero help or answers this far. We are getting the feeling that they are just waiting for our 1 year from purchase guarantee to pass by so that they can skip their commitment. We do not necessarily want the tree to be replaced, we want their input to know to make this tree thrive better and we are not getting it. Our next tree/shrubs may be coming from someplace else. Update from initial paragraphs above... absolutely zero "customer service" for the tree, and our time ran out. We had to cut it down. $300+ in the burn pile. I very rarely give a business this kind of review, but I honestly feel that this was warranted. We played by all of their retune/customer purchase rules and guidelines, and they did nothing.

DeMonye's had 10x the variety of what I usually find at Straders, and they were $4.49!! I did a little dance. You can find annuals, perennials, indoor plants, bulbs, seeds, soil, garden decor, pots, you name it! I also found flowers and berry plants for my garden. Wow! If you are looking to plant, garden, or landscape you need to visit Natorp's. We are new-ish…read morehomeowners and just now figuring out our landscaping. We had tried two other local nurseries plus Lowe's and Menards without success- sad looking plants and no help who could advise us on planting for our mostly shaded area. Natorp's was completely different and above and beyond our expectations! As soon as you drive in, it's beautiful and clearly marked. The woman at the customer service desk directed us to a perennial specialist who was so knowledgeable with 30+ years of experience! She helped us find everyone on our list and more. The plants are so well organized, labeled, and easy to find. And they were so healthy- even though it was fall when we visited! I can't stress enough how helpful everyone here was. We were helped by at least 4 people who were so smiley and engaging and willing to find anything for us. They shared that they grow everything there and that they have hundreds of acres! And the prices... you would expect a place like this to charge more for the experience and plant quality but they are an outlet so the prices are amazing. My mother in law is a seasoned gardener and told us she had paid almost 3x what we were paying for some of our plants. You get the "club price" just for buying it- so easy! They will load the plants in your car after, truly taking care of you until the last moment. We were still shopping til closing time and they didn't rush us out and helped us even a few minutes before close. This was a bit of a drive from us but worth every minute! We already know we'll come back when it's time to plant more of our yard, and will recommend it to anyone in the market for plants and a wonderful customer service experience.
