I've been to 4 other pool supply places in town over the last 8 years of pool ownership and every time I'd go to different places they told me I needed $100-$250 on chemicals, but my pool was never dialed in. The last 6 months of using Clearwater as my go to establishment I've never walked out spending more than $40 and my pool has never looked or felt better. The last straw at the last place I used was when they put $120 in parts into my pool sweep to "fix" it and it still didn't work so they told me I needed a new one. I had heard good things about Clearwater so I brought in my pool sweep, they disassembled it, cleaned bearings, gave me a few free bushings that the last place forgot to put back, ALL AT NO CHARGE because it didn't use any parts except a few bushings that they had lying around and my pool sweep has never worked better (who does anything for free anymore??). I have now even bought stuff there that I know I could get on Amazon for cheaper because they've have earned and deserve my business!! I'll never spend a penny anywhere else for anything pool/spa related! This is a class act family run mom & pop shop and I fully endorse them, without reservation!! Thanks Clearwater!

Fast forward to today, I reached out because some guy came to service our pool (only knew because I'm home with a sick kid). The owner called me and said we'd been receiving service the whole time (news to us) and he'd like to start over. Then he made it clear he only meets clients before 3 pm through the week, and that it seemed like this wouldn't work. With all of the issues created by lack of communication on the businesses part, all we wanted was to meet face to face for a few minutes to set things up right. At that point, it was clear he didn't want our business. I'm shocked by all of this because the company gets great reviews, but they definitely aren't hurting for clients and their customer service is lackluster at best. We felt like just a number on a page from day 1. Definitely don't recommend this company. It's expensive compared to others and not worth the money based on what we experienced. We ended up having to do all kinds of service and troubleshooting in our own because the tech wasn't doing their job apparently anyways.
