If only I had the option to select a negative valued star I would have more than likely chosen -5 stars. My car needed to be towed less than one mile to reach their yard so I had a friend bring me there due to the unfortunate circumstances I suffered by wrapping myself around a telephone pole on 3A. Normally I tend to find error, fancied or true in all those around me but I'll be the first to say, this was completely on me and I'm grateful nobody was hurt. I got a ride the next day to 107 Sheep Davis Rd where my car was to grab my debit card and a sweatshirt that has more value than anything you can think of, its absolutely priceless to me. We drove over to the office to find someone so they could let me get my personal belongings and medication I cant go without. After I heard the very first sentence greedily demand a payment of $600... but that was ONLY to get my belongings. This man is a thief and a liar so let this be a warning to all.... Should you ever need a tow on 3A, make damn sure it isn't headed to this con-artists sand pile. This all went down the day before Thanksgiving as well. I don't know how this so-called man sleeps at night by screwing people over and keeping their personal property as hostage. read more

My boat trailer broke down at the Hooksett service area today. John's Wrecker Service sent a flatbed and securely loaded my boat and trailer. The driver was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was half expecting someone to give me a hard time about not having a spare, but the driver was kind and helpful. He made great time on the 95-mile drive back to my house south of Boston. I recently needed to move my disabled '66 Chevy a few miles within Concord, NH. Their driver, Chris, was prompt, courteous and professional. He arrived a few minutes early and was very understanding of my situation. He took excellent care of my classic car, ensuring there was no damage during the towing. The cost of the tow, $85, had been communicated to me when I first called their dispatcher. This is a a reasonable price for a flatbed tow with a competent operator. absolutely horrible service ! it took this "company" a while to get there, a lot longer than what i wanted. they over pay and it's extremely not okay for that. i had to cancel plans because i was stuck. he was very rude to me and my friend who was with me as well. never calling this place again. Company KNEW this was an AAA call but they poached it anyway and then charged an 18 year old girl $200(!!) for winching her out of a snowbank. She didn't have it and he then threatened to tow the car. A state trooper asked the man (who refused to give his name) to just send her a bill and they refused. The trooper paid it himself out of his own pocket, and she will repay him immediately. Absolutely shameful behavior for a local company. I'll make sure no one I know ever uses them again. read more

On July 6, 2017, at 6:00 PM, my husband and I had a tire that separated from the rim on our pop-up camper trailer that we were towing home. We had pulled off the highway (Rte 93 South coming from Rte 89 South) and we were well off the highway pavement, parked on the grass, with an excellent line of sight and we had 2 spare tires, one of which was brand new. John's Wrecker Service would not change the tire, in fact they would not even look at the tire, despite the fact that it was obvious to me (as a woman) that the tire needed to be changed (and the dispatcher said the tow driver would "look at the tire".) It cost us $250.00 to tow the camper to Straham Tire in Concord, NH. Stratham Tire changed the tire at no charge because they felt bad for us because John's Wrecker Service charged us $250 to tow our pop-up without even trying to change the tire. I had wanted to change the tire but my husband over-ruled me! My advice to avoid being taken advantage of is do not use John's Wrecker Service. Instead, find another towing service if you need help and you are near Concord, NH. Then, if you have a tire problem, go straight to Stratham Tire for good, honest service. read more

Had an accident on the way home from the NASCAR race in Sept. Got in an accident while towing a 28ft camper, ended up down off the road and in the woods. Johns Towing was called and responded with a flatbed for my truck and a tow truck for the camper. Both items were towed to their yard. My wife and I were given a ride to a car rental Co. by the flatbed driver. We rented a truck and drove to the tow yard to recover what we could. The camper was severely damage and would be stored inside. We returned several days later to attempt to tow the camper home. John himself and two employees took an hour or better and several rolls of tape and things to make the camper roadworthy and towable. The drivers and John himself couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Thank you gentlemen for turning horrendous experience into an experience that was easier to live through.
