Based off many personal recommendations, came here for my first purchase and came away impressed…read more It's a family run business that's been in the area for a long time, and it's stayed in the family. The guys behind the counter are very professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming to everyone walking through the front door. I've been to smaller shops and larger ones; I'd say that there's a good chance they can steer a customer in the right direction with stock on-hand, and absolutely will order from their distributor anything they don't. There's also a selection of used (yellow tag) items for sale, as well as consignment items (green tag) for sale as well. Like most gun store owners, they're a bit wary of new customers coming through the door, but after you get to know them, they will absolutely be there for you with any advice and help to make sure you're satisfied and safe. Really appreciate having a store like this, unlike some others in Connecticut that make you feel like you're doing them a favor being a customer. No range on the premises, there are some nearby such as Wolf's (which gets my thumbs up) where you can try out before you buy.

Plain and simple these are Professionals in the most upfront way. I just completed my 8 hour pistol course with the two instructors, and it was an absolute breeze. Very thorough in explanation, visuals and hands-on training with firearms. I would suggest this company to any firearm owner or anyone seeking personal advice to advance their ballistic skill and knowledge, either an experienced marksman or total gun novice. They aim (no pun intended) to make you confident gun owner, and to educate all on constitutional liberty. Simply awesome. read more

Both instructors were excellent and very thorough. Both were very patient for newcomers whom have never used a pistol before. They abided by covid guidelines! It was a really great experience and I recommend them for sure! Going into the class I didn't have much knowledge about pistols, but coming out of the class I have gained so much knowledge from Cliff and Caleb! Thanks again!! read more

Loved that the staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about gun safety and legal ownership of guns. I had fun during my group session learning about guns, ammunition, ways of staying safe and more about the NRA. I would suggest this service to anyone who is speaking a fun learning environment. read more
