I haven't looked into membership or usage outside of these competitions, but it's a good spot to hold these in the winter time when it's too cold to be doing them outdoors.

If it's too cold or just really bad outside, go right into the building next to the pits and use the indoor range. If you need ammo, you can get it there. Visit at least once a month and your dues will more than be worth it just by the value of training alone. I can't speak at all on the trap and skeet stuff but i've never seen a place so well kept and watching the folks who do it, i think if you're into it, you'll find yourself in great company.

We've attended Thursday evening Ladies Pistol Nights and have become regulars at the Trap field. My friend became a member earlier this year, and I've applied for membership recently. This is a great club that has a lot to offer:. a pistol range, rifle range, archery range, trap and skeet fields, fishing ponds, and LOTS of events from dinners, 5 stand, and the previously mentioned ladies specific events. Great club and not as expensive as I've heard some of the other clubs in CT can be.

What stood out most was the focus on judgment, responsibility, and the real consequences of poor decisions, not just what is legal. The discussions on self-defense law, duty to retreat, Castle Doctrine, and collateral liability were especially valuable. David also addressed mental health and suicide prevention with honesty and care, which set this course apart. In our time since the classes, we have met the owner, several members of the sales and range safety team. To a person, they are outstanding. It's a smaller indoor range with only about 10 lanes. But even going on a Sunday, It wasn't filled up. Each lane purchase comes with a target. I was looking for some tactical training within the state, versus the standard stagnant-without the ability to pull from the holster- shooting. I was advised by one of the range staff that there are a variety of classes available for this type of interest. There is a variety of fire arms to choose from as well as ammo for purchase.
