Honestly, the farm itself wasn't the best. It truly is geared for children under 12. Not much for a group of adults to do. Their staff was 5/5 though! Super friendly people. We just went and picked out a couple of pumpkins and left. You do pay for entry fee plus the pumpkins are weighed at the end which determines that price.

Family had a ton of fun today, it was the opening weekend for the pumpkin patch season! Kids had a blast with the animals and play things to do as did us parents! We picked a bag of honey crisp apples and picked up a package of apple spiced donuts to go! Get your loved ones together and go check it out!!

I really appreciate Johnson Farms for implementing online tickets and for having their employees wear masks. I feel like there could've been more signs asking customers to wear masks though. The produce and pumpkin fields are large enough that it was very easy to keep our distance away from other people. Paying had us gathered a little more tightly but most people have a wagon so that helps with the distance. You can also walk to the fields instead of taking the wagon. I did notice the hay in the wagons was covered in plastic so it could be cleaned so that was nice. From what I've seen this is the best pumpkin patch in the Kansas City area doing some sort of Covid related guidelines. The pumpkin selection was amazing and the prices were pretty reasonable. This was our first visit to Johnson farms but it won't be our last. I think this might be our new fall favorite.

Excellent place for family fun, especially if you have a young child. Many homemade type play equipment you might expect at a pumpkin patch but many things that wouldn't expect like a fire truck and giant inflatable bounce area. Also, a place to shoot baskets/play skeet ball. Too much to mention! Then, there is the largest pumpkin patch I have seen. We didn't buy any pumpkins so can't judge the prices. Besides pumpkins, they have a giant apple orchard where you can pick your own apples and a field of sunflower. They also have a pumpkin can they shot several times when we were there. Very cool to see in person! Had only seen on TV, previously. Tickets were $13 but seemed like a great value with all you got. Will definitely be going back!

*MUST VISIT FALL ACTIVITY*…read more Louisberg Cider Mill is such a gem and a charming little place to visit! Just 25-30 minutes away from Overland Park and surrounding areas. The parking is easy, and during fall they have a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and family activities - currently they have opened up their activities space from 12th Sept. The parking area to the left is geared towards the fall activity and on the right you will find the country store itself along with hard cider booth, Food truck and a tiny Mill itself. Since it was 90° outside, I skipped the activities and went into the store directly. The rest of the year, the country store and mill are open I believe. It was my very first cider mill experience. And I couldn't have picked up a better place than this one - absolutely fell in love!! The store feels like walking straight into fall ... the smell inside the store will make you nostalgic instantly. The store shelves were stocked with everything from fruit butters,BBQ sauces, Loose Teas, Jams ,Preserves to pancake/donut/cake mixes, ciders, and wines along with seasonal decor and kids stuff. I couldn't help but feel like a kid again lol. I left with strawberry rhubarb preserve, Dutch apple preserve, apple butter, orchard blend hard cider, and the donuts off course. NOTE - Since I am a diabetic, I'm always searching for food items which has no extra sugar added, and I found that many of the preserves butters had no extra sugar added ... it was a win-win situation for me. The donuts are warm, golden, dusted with Sugar, and extremely soft inside. It 100% answered the question like if fall had a flavor then this could be it - very cinnamony and cider like. The Dutch apple preserves were full of crisp apple chunks huge ones, the strawberry rhubarb preserve was also perfectly made and the apple butter had a deep caramelized flavor and my husband loved the hard cider for being crisp and slight sweetness. Right next door is the mill itself, with displays of cider-making equipment and baskets of fresh apples. There's also outdoor seating to eat the purchased food. I'll definitely going to be back when the temperature cools down to explore the pumpkin patch and the corn maze. If you're anywhere near Kansas City, this place is a MUST fall activity. Even if you just go for the donuts, it's worth the trip.

My littles are 5 and under and they loved the corn kernel pit, the hay ride, and all the animals! And of course we ended our trip with an apple cider donut! We went early in the morning so there weren't too many people yet, which was nice! It was also a pretty hot day, so we got an apple cider slushy to cool us down!

I have been going for the last 30 years and have seen many changes but have never left disappointed. The patch normally opens mid June and highly recommend calling the Picking Report before heading out. If going with little ones, take a wagon or backpack carrier for them. Little fingers can't pick very fast and tend to get tired. They have a wonderful bakery with delicious muffins for sale and a general store with all kinds of jams, bakery items, honey and anything blueberry related. If you didn't pick enough, you can also buy "We Pick" berries, but calling ahead to reserve is recommended. Lots of picnic tables to enjoy baked goods or picnic lunches. Walking can be challenging on the gravel surfaces, but for anyone with difficulties can drive to the farther fields. There will still be walking involved and no hard surfaces.

Great outdoor experience for an individual or family outing. Pricing is reasonable and they do accept cash. Plenty of free parking. Call for hours because what is showing on Yelp is not correct.
