If ANYTHING AT ALL comes into question, even under warranty, they will say whatever lies they can in order to push blame and cost back to you. I will NEVER buy from or hire these clowns again!! Learn from my mistakes and take your hard earned money ANYWHERE but here!! Back story: At the end of last year I had a blown 3.7 L V6 engine with 170,000 miles replaced out of a used 07 Dodge Nitro with a used salvaged motor with 80,000 miles on it. The Dodge was purchased just 6 months before the motor blew the top end. And it was barely driven during those 6 months. My Dad being the gentle giant that he is, entrusted the man that owns Asbells & Sons Garage which originally sold us the Dodge to do the work and then after to try and sell it for the last 5 1/2 months. Two weeks ago I decided to stepped in and bring it back to N Ga, fix up some cosmetic items and either use the vehicle or try and sell it in a bigger sellers market. Upon driving it to my home in N Ga, some 200 miles away, the air conditioner had quit blowing cold air. When I got home that evening I inspected the AC system and discovered the discharge line off the compressor going to the condenser had been placed to close to the serpentine belt which wore a hole into it allowing all the refrigerant to escape. The next day my father which lives in Eastman returned to Asbells & Sons Garage but was not given an answer as to them taking responsibility to fix the damage. Today when I contacted them on the phone about another part that isn't working correctly (an alternator that they requested to replaced while doing the engine replacement work) I was told, very rudely, that I can return it to O'Reilly Auto Parts to fix the problem AND as for the AC line getting repaired by them, I was basically treated like I was an idiot and an asshole for ever believing they should be responsible for that AC line when, and I quote "they never touched or replaced that line when replacing the original motor." And there was no talking any sense into woman on the phone either, she was dead set in being a complete idiot when it comes to whats involved in replacing a engine!! Like I said, learn from our mistakes of doing business with Asbell & Son's Garage, take your very hard earned money ANYWHERE but here!!

Much worse they say " I got it for $100 cheaper than we quoted you , even though we also replaced the battery. OVER $100 just in labor for oil change. They also Lied about where they got the parts. And after trying to negotiate, they simply blamed the accountant and said math isn't her strong suit.

I don't know the owner's son's name, but he sure took care of me, calmed me down and good company to take my mind off of much going on. Tanners had me back on the road with a new tire within an hour at a surprisingly reasonable cost. At first I thought that this was small town kindness, but really it was just a small business doing their absolute best to take care of others in need. Might just drive the 2 hours to use for any issues with my car. Kudos to you Tanner's! You don't know how much appreciated you are!

The outside is nothing to look at but don't let that fool you. The waiting room is clean with ac in the summer and heat in the winter. There seems to always be a couple of locals gossiping every morning. Get there early for the quickest service. Billy has a lot in stock but sometimes he has to order your tires and the earlier he orders them the quicker you get them. I have had major brake overhauls done here. He always tells you what you need to do now and what can wait a while. The prices are as good as any chain stores in the bigger cities and it saves you gas money. I will continue to go there as long as he is in business. You don't see quality, honesty and integrity much anymore but you get it here!
