They were called to recover one of our trucks by the county sheriff and proceeded to overcharge, $10K for a few hours of work and held our vehicle hostage and threatened to sell it when we disputed their outrageous fees. The worst car shop I've ever run across. They had my Mini Cooper for over 3 months to replace the timing chain for it to break again 2 months after they "fixed" it. These guys are crooks through and through. They wouldn't even look at my Mimi for a second time because it broke down in a different city and since I had to get it towed somewhere else they said it wasn't under warranty. My car broke down near the county line on state road 26. After calling AAA, Johnson's towing came fairly quick and got me home back to Kokomo safe and sound. Driver was polite and friendly. Definitely will use again (but I hope I don't have to ) read more

On March 16 2018 I was hit by another car head on and my vehicle was towed by Johnson towing and I had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. Before I was taken to the hospital, my wife came to check on me and found out where my vehicle was being towed to. When my wife went to get the stuff out of my vehicle the girl at the front desk told my wife that she had to show proof of full coverage insurance which sounded strange in order to get the stuff out of the car. While still in the hospital and still getting checked out, my wife came to get the insurance card. When I got out of the hospital and my wife picked me up, she asked me did I leave my satchel unzipped that was in the back seat under the driver's seat and I said no, so when I got home I checked inside of it to see if my money that I had hidden inside of it was still there, I looked where I had it hidden and it had been stolen out of my bag. When I confronted the owners son who had towed my vehicle to their lot about the money stolen, he said he didn't know anything about it. I suggest that if anyone gets into a accident, do not use this towing company because they are thieves and crooks and they take advantage of people who have been in a accident. read more

We were on our way from Michigan to Georgia on 6/23, stopping in Kokomo to have a bite to eat. We pulled into the restaurant for dinner and the car started dragging something on the ground. We called AAA for assistance. They called Johnson's 24 hour emergency service. They came out to us within 20 minutes. He helped us get our car back on the road in 15 minutes. I just had an incident with one of the drivers. He turned right on a red light when the sign says no turn on red. He is driving a company truck as well. I flipped the dude off because of the illegal activity and him going 30 in a 40 mph. He pulls up to the light and is yelling at me so I told him why I did what I did. He is swearing and threatening me and saying I'm such a bad example for his daughter. He continues to swear and insult while his daughter is in the truck without a car seat and no seat belt. He is the epitome of what is wrong with today's society. read more

Had my car towed there after a front corner collision. It was an older 02 Malibu. Told them to make it drive-able. They charged me $1,347.00. When I came to pick it up, they had not put the side turn signals in. They just left holes empty, with the wires and light bulbs hanging down. Now keep in mind the car is black, so at night, no one could see the side of the car. So, I made a thirty-mile trip back, and they said they would put them in. They called me a couple of days later and said the turn signals were fixed. I got the keys and backed it out of the garage, but was stupid enough to not to check and make sure they had put them in. Got home, and guess what!! NO TURN SIGNALS!! I took the car back to them....ANOTHER 60 MILE TRIP!!! They called me back the next day and said the turn signals were not part of the original estimate!! AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE?!?! I MAY NOT BE THE BRIGHTEST BULB IN THE BOX, BUT I THINK SIDE TURNS SIGNALS ON A BLACK CAR SHOULD BE PART OF THE ESTIMATE!!! The parts cost $1.87 each, and they would not do it without charging me another $72.00. So I bought the parts and did it myself. THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS!!!
