Each time I had to pay for transmission fluid out of pocket $275.00 second time he said warranty wouldn't pay all the labor so I had to pay $500 plus $275 for fluid! All because he said my maxima has spacers on rims. Total rip off because dealer ship quoted $6,000 for new transmission and I've spent that with this shop on used transmission. Total waste of money. Be careful because I think the transmission is not being replaced just fixed old bad transmission. Each time I took to Nissan dealership and it was in fact all three times another bad transmission each three times!!! Note: Joe said I had warranty but still car isn't working because he says the spacers on rims void warranty but those same spacers was on car when he first got the first transmission!! About six months ago, they changed my oil in both of my cars and I noticed that they put the wrong…read moremileage for the next oil change on both cars. This seemed shady but, I wrote the experience off as a one-off mistake. Then, back at the beginning of July they changed my oil...and completely damaged the hood of my car and passenger side fender by trying to slam the hood closed on the stick that holds it up. They sent me home without mentioning it... When I came back to ask what happened they said they would "check the cameras". The business manager then acknowledged that they caused the damage. And then all communication stopped. No phone calls. No responses to emails. Nothing. I had to file a complaint with the attorney general of NC and only then did they communicate through email acknowledging the damage they caused. Then they blocked my emails so I couldn't forward them the repair estimate. So the attorney general's office did it for me. Only then did they go and pay for the repair...They didn't ever apologize. They never called me. They didn't cover a rental car for me and my kids while the van was in the shop. I'm lucky they even paid for the repair. And here's the thing... someone not as persistent as me may not have ever gotten their car fixed. Someone who didn't know how to contact the attorney general might not have ever gotten a repair. So be careful. This business is not one who wants to do the right thing. They aren't willing to admit when a mistake is made. And they aren't willing to fix their mistakes unless the law is involved.

But he answered the phone when I called and went out of his way to help me jump the battery of my car in the rain without asking for any monetary payment. I was in Benson seeing patients (Home Health) today when my car's battery died. Unfortunately, my patient did not have a car and did not have a jumper. The closest neighbors several yards away. It was also raining hard, thus I could not walk to the nearest neighbor. So, I googled towing and car services in the area and called a few towing company, but all of them said they could get to me after an hour or more. I then called Carlyle's Transmission Services and spoke with a man who said he does not offer "jumping cars", but that he will come to me. In less than 10minutes, he arrived and had my car battery running in no time. After that, I asked him how much do I owe him, but he said "Don't worry about it."... Yes, it may not take time to jump a car, BUT it was raining and I was a stranger stuck several miles away from his place of business. He went out of his way to help a stranger. I am forever grateful! and if I have a need for any transmission services, I will most definitely go to Carlyle's even if it is a few towns over. I was a stranger, not a customer, and Shane provided top notch service; how much more when I am a paying customer?
