I asked if there would be a residual balance and was told multiple times that I would not receive a bill in the mail later on, which did happen, and with a request to write my payment card information and mail it back. I called several times to pay over the phone or online and nobody returned my voicemails. Then they sent my information to collections. I do not recommend doing business here.

I was to Dr. Young just over 2 years ago by my primary DDS. I needed a tooth extracted, and would…read moresubsequently need an implant. I was told at the time by my DDS and by Dr. Young that it should be a very simple procedure. After a few months, I was informed that I would need a bone graft, in order to accommodate the implant. Eight months later I was informed that the graft was not successful, and he would need to do it again. It was recommended by Dr. Young that I use a more invasive procedure, that would allow for the implant. A few days after this procedure, I went back to Dr. Young to learn that the stitches had all dislodged. At this time I was informed that because of the first bone graft, it was far too much scar tissue for the second one to work. I was only informed this after invested over $4800 out of pocket. I am the kind of person that is far more likely to leave a positive review as opposed to no review at all. I am writing this review so others do not find themselves in the predicament that I am now in. I have now been informed by two professional service providers (both oral surgeons) that's something "wasn't quite right." Either the bone grafts should have worked, or I paid for services that I never received. The one thing they both agreed upon, was it would be more difficult for a bone graft to take now, given the massive amount of scar tissue left by Dr.Young. Reading all of his reviews on online, I've realized that my scenario is common place. PLEASE read all of his reviews, so that you can make an informed decision. I wish I had. Buyer Beware!

DO UNTO OTHERS…read more.... This is the absolute worst dental office I've ever experienced. I am leaving this review on behalf of my sister, who is unable to do so. Months ago my sister visited this office for a broken front tooth & was told by Jeffrey that he couldn't put a crown on it, but to return for a cleaning. She had a fantastic oral surgeon extract the tooth & returned to Mansolillo months later for a cleaning & x-rays. The hygienist x-rayed her teeth & said for her to return for a 2 visit deep cleaning, but had to submit it to her insurance company before booking the appointments. I gave my sister's paperwork to the receptionist, to indicate what had been done & she gave it back to me. I told her that someone needed to indicate what was done, so she gave the paperwork to the hygienist who was complaining about being a half hour late for her next appointment. The next day they called me & said they couldn't treat my sister (who is in a wheelchair). I asked why & they regurgitated a word salad that implied they couldn't treat her in her wheelchair (that btw reclines). They said they were referring her to another dental office. I expressed that they should have been up front with me & told me this before I left their office. I asked if they could please text me the name & number of the other dental office. The receptionist said she could either text or email me the info. I told her that I prefer she text me the info but she insisted on me giving her my email address. When I didn't comply, she decided to rudely hang up on me. A few minutes later, I was left a voicemail by a different woman asking for my email address. Shortly after that I received a text asking for my email address. The fish is definitely rotting from the head down in that office. Jeffrey needs to stop prancing around that office & exercise some empathy & compassion, especially for those less fortunate than himself. And btw, my sister was in a wheelchair when he initially saw her for her broken tooth. That entire practice is the epitome of disrespect & cowardice.

I had a very uncomfortable and concerning experience with this dental office and would strongly…read morecaution others before going here. I scheduled a new patient appointment approximately two months in advance. Prior to being seen, I was encouraged to enroll in the office's dental membership program months before my actual visit, which was unusual and, in hindsight, appears financially motivated rather than patient-focused. The appointment lasted close to two hours, yet I only spent approximately 20 minutes with the dentist. During that time, the dentist made unsolicited and unsubstantiated claims about my overall health, stating she could identify "gut issues" based on my appearance. She then strongly pressured me to see a specific outside provider charging approximately $1,600 per visit, and implied that any dental treatment would fail if I did not follow her recommendation. This was inappropriate, outside the standard scope of dental care, and presented in an alarmist and coercive manner. The interaction was distressing enough that I left the office in tears. After my appointment, I attempted multiple times to obtain information about my X-rays, recommended treatment, and an estimate of costs. I called the office approximately 10 times, and each time I was told that staff were unsure and would follow up, but I never received a clear response. I was eventually told that this information could not be provided over the phone, which had not been communicated to me previously. The lack of clear communication and inability to provide basic information about my treatment plan added to the overall confusion and frustration. Following this experience, I attempted to cancel the membership. My written cancellation request was ignored, and my card continued to be charged. I was only able to stop the charges by contacting the third-party provider (Clerri) directly. Only then did the office acknowledge the cancellation. I was not provided with any information indicating that cancellation had to be completed through a third-party provider, and this requirement was not clearly communicated to me. Even after cancellation, the office continued to send repeated messages attempting to schedule appointments, despite no indication that I wished to return. Subsequently, I was told I was responsible for paying the full cost of services (cleaning and X-rays) that had already been covered under the membership plan. When I requested written documentation or a policy supporting this retroactive billing, none was provided despite multiple requests. Attempting to charge patients for previously covered services without a clearly disclosed policy raises serious concerns regarding billing transparency and fairness. I did not receive or sign any documentation clearly stating that this was a yearly membership or that I would be financially responsible for the full cost of services if I chose to cancel early. The office also indicated that they would send the disputed balance to collections, despite not providing documentation supporting the charge. Additionally, the office failed to provide my dental records, including X-rays, after I requested them. The office indicated that records would be released once the balance was resolved, suggesting that access to records may be contingent on payment. Overall, this experience raises significant concerns regarding ethical standards, billing practices, and respect for patient rights. I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before seeking care at this office.
