I was then assigned to another FNP during which time I had questions about the level of my care, because I felt my best interest was not being met, as my Primary Care Physician. After all, there were times when I needed help or requested referrals, but it was met with denials. Once I started voicing my displeasure with my medical care. An incident occurred that I felt was handled by the FNP that was very unprofessional and handled in a demeaning manner. I voiced my opinion regarding it, and shortly afterwards, I received a letter telling me that I had to find another physician in 30 days because I was not in agreement with my medical care.

I find Dr. Meeham to be very thorough. She takes her time with me and she listens and shares information. I hate prescription medication and she's been willing to allow me to make lifestyle changes rather than just handing out prescription after prescription. I appreciate that she explains but doesn't "push". So far it's working out. I'm healthy. I also love Renee, the reception gal and also Dr. Meeham's long-time lab phlebotomist whom I call "Painless". This is a good practice.

If you call after hours to leave a message, it will instruct you on how to leave a text message. If you don't mind paying a $25 fee to do so. Recorded messages consistently remind you to "use the portal" to contact provider---but if the provider had submitted the PA so medication could be retrieved from pharmacy---extra effort to reach provider would not be required

She charged…read moreme because she wrote a script out for BP med I have been on for 10 years ( I could have had CVS call it in) , we discussed my A1C from my yearly blood work, and because she told me that my Stye could take two weeks to get over (never touched or looked at my Stye). I had made a six month follow up appointment but canceled it due to changing doctors. Dr McGill refused to fill my BP meds until I called to find out why. She allowed me to do without my meds because she wanted me to come in for an appointment. The ethical thing to do would have been to fill for a week then have her nurse call and tell me I needed an appointment. Instead she allowed me to run out of meds that have worked for 10 years. What about her oath to do no harm?

I thought they were going to finish me off there as they kept turning it up. That's just to start. Dr Wefald & his staff have been top notch. They handle difficult situations with ease. But at first I was put off and a bit nervous about having chosen this medical office. The decor of the office is outdated and just made me feel like I was about to receive outdated healthcare. The registration forms almost made me runaway. I work in implementation of electronic health records for a living, so the fact that they are fully on paper record made me cringe. One of the forms to sign states that there is $25 fee if you would like a copy of your medical records. In an era where online patient information portals exist for access to medical records, I found this to be very inconvenient and a little wrong. This is the point where I almost ran, but didn't because I had a cold and not a lot if time to find another doctor and schedule another appointment. The wait time was not too bad, probably among the best I've experienced. Once I was in the exam room, I was happy that I didn't leave. The nurse was very pleasant and took my vitals quickly. My provider, their PA Kim, was great. I really appreciated that she took the time to really listen to all of my concerns and addressed them all. A lot of providers don't take the time to that. She also presented me with options, gave me information and let me decide. I really value shared and informed medical decision making. The woes of paper records got back to me when they referred me to labs and x-rays and I had to provide them with all my information again in each of the facilities, plus they spelled my name wrong on the referral. At the end of the day, what really matters is patient care and I felt good about the care, so that is what weighed most in my rating. Pros: -Easy to schedule an appointment for the same week -Short wait time -Caring and friendly health care Cons: -Paper medical records and all their negative implications in this day and age

The front desk staff are rude are completely clueless, I was charged for many things i shouldn't have been and had to go back to get them to fix it. The last straw was when I cancelled all future appointments because i am switching Gynos, and they "have no record of cancelling my appt last month" and i got charged a no sho fee when i got no notification of an appointment. Dr Bhiwandi has the worst beside manner, and should not be giving exams to anyone who is sexually active.
