YES, releasing patients is a thing, typically VERY rare in the industry due to the downstream impacts of abandoning patients, but 3 in 3 years, clearly not for this practice, and 2 PA's too in that time? One has to ask what the heck is going on over there?! Why are they having so much trouble keeping doctors AND patients? What is the common denominator? Say it with me....POOR MANAGEMENT! There is much more I have to say on this subject but need to refrain in this forum. I was on short-term disability and needed to meet my physician to complete insurer-required paperwork. I've since received repeated past-due notices and payment demands for this disputed amount. The clinic also sent notice that they will not accept partial payments, raising concerns about unfair billing practices. When I raised my concerns in writing and advised that I intended to file a complaint, I received a text message from the office manager, Dr. Gruber, accusing me of being "threatening." As an African American woman, I found this characterizes my professionalism unfairly and offensively. I am requesting: Removal of the $100 charge. Written confirmation that no further billing or collection attempts will occur. I have pursued this through the BBB, the Department of Consumer Affairs, and other consumer protection channels. This complaint is to show their unfair billing, poor communication, and discriminatory treatment.

Never examined my rash or felt around my stomach to figure out where exactly the pain was coming from. We did agree to do blood work, but she would not let me know which blood tests she wanted to order and the cost for each. She just wanted me to show up and have blood vials taken--could be 1-5 vials. Who knows! I said this was not acceptable and that I wanted to know what tests were going to be performed and the cost. They said they could only tell that to me the morning of the blood draw. I said, nope...I would like to know ahead of time so I have time to research each test and decide which ones make sense to me. They finally agreed they would call me in a few days with this information. They NEVER did!! They called, but it was to schedule my follow-up appointment for a few months from then. They also ordered some kind of sleep test for me without my approval, which of course I would then have to pay out-of-pocket. I immediately cancelled the sleep test with the company. This is a money-making racket! They clearly don't care about patient care and cost to the patient. I will NEVER return!! Lastly, the front desk people are grumpy and unfriendly, and the place is dirty. Yuck!

So often it felt like the only time I could stop to breathe and let my mind process was in those cozy rooms with my ethereal soundscape and Snorlax onesie. I endured years of Veteran Affairs "try this pill" approach to healthcare despite my insistence that self-empowering treatments like Spravato were what I needed, and Dr. Millet was the first physician to take me seriously. We arrived at 12pm to an empty waiting room except for a gentleman who it appeared had been seen but was waiting for paperwork?. As new patients we filled out the required (but basic) forms and handed these in. And the proceeded to WAIT...and WAIT...and WAIT. A lady came after us and was seen in less than 10minutes. I assume this is because she was a prior patient and thus her information was already in the system. It was 12:45pm before we were finally invited to a patient room (as it turns out ALL THIS TIME they had been "entering our information" - mind you they had already confirmed our insurance). Sigh. It was 1:20pm before the Physicians Assistant (PA) entered our room. I couldn't believe it. This was a center with NO PATIENTS when we arrived. The vaccine consultation was limited at best. Questions regarding possible allergies/reactions were NOT brought up by the PA. As patients we recognized the possible complications when it came signing the vaccination form and though their nurse had already prepared the vaccinations, we had to opt for 2 family members NOT to do the vaccine because the PA was uncertain of possible reactions. NOR was she aware of alternate measures we could take for those unable to receive required vaccinations. [This location is advertised as a Travel Medicine Office....me thinks not!]. Between seeing the PA, getting the vaccines (1 vaccine by the way) and making a payment, we were finally able to leave at 2:20pm. For an Urgent Care Center with zero patients when we arrived the lack of efficiency in the service was very very disappointing as was the limited knowledge of the PA in a travel medicine office. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Before being seen by her I was dealing with chronic disease and was doing the run around, my experience with other doctors were awful. She truly cared to keep medical charges as low as possible as I was being treated every month. While treating multiple chronic diseases she was honest that stress was triggering all my issues and recommended I change my environment. It took me some time but as soon as I did all the chronic diseases disappeared. I had been on 4 rounds of antibiotics and so much more medication. It has been 2 months and I'm so grateful for my new health and the honesty, care, support and treatment from Dr. Nguyen and her team. The best of the best. Thank you!

I drove over to Duke urgent, got right in on a Saturday night at about 530 and had x-rays done and a boot on by 6:45 ! The PA that took care of me was named Christopher and he was absolutely fantastic, so kind and funny, the x-ray technician was named Wendy and she was also every bit as wonderful ! Very good experience, everybody was very professional and kind, not a long wait and I felt like I received very good care . Highly recommend this location ! Plenty of parking, the waiting room is spotless, and the reception ladies that check you in were both very wonderful also.
