Omg I saw someone's review that had a bad experience.I stopped by for the 1st of many repeat visits. I like how organized each section is and not too much inventory meaning you get fresh smokes etc. Not only was the man there very informative he was so polite and showed me rewards offer. I made sure got picz just for this review. He also told me the New Bern Ave location has more square footage and products. The Delta company 3chi which I adore is carried there. Store has a good selection of product. Tony is a great guy, but don't come by anytime he isn't there. Vape gear is defective all the time - it's just widely accepted sh*t happens. I bought a pack of coils and were DOA. Didn't work at all. It happens a lot with SMOK coils, so it's not a big deal. This is the first time in my life a store refused to replace one. Charged me full price and told me its store policy not to replace. It's the only time I've never gotten a discount on juice or anything either, and I've been vaping for 7 years living in 3 states. Tony, if you're reading this try to talk some sense into these clowns. Smoke and vape shops are all about customer loyalty and sh*t. This was our everyday shop until that happened. read more

My review changed entirely after this company and agreed that the owners displayed cost me about 60 maybe $80 in cigar wrappers that were too dry and/or not taken care of. Sammy At Joker Smoker has really turned the store around. Once he took over the store everything improved. Not only have they expanded their inventory but customer service is incredible. He recommends I reach out to the company, I said you have a relationship w the distributor, wouldn't it be easier for you to get a credit from the company, all sales are final. Prick. Under new management: Today was the first time I've ever been to this place, and it was a wonderful experience. The manager and staff are extremely nice and knowledgeable. It is such a warm and inviting energy inside, you are welcomed and assisted like family throughout your visit. They take time to answer any and all questions you may have. It is very clean and organized. There is such a huge variety of EVERYTHING. They have a cigar lounge, a huge assortment of CBD products (even for pets!), tobacco products, vape mods, e-juices galore, and head shop items for pipe tobacco smoking. The owner is very forward thinking and has some wonderful ideas and products to offer to the community. Definitely my new favorite shop for the triangle area for sure! Will be back!! read more

I have visited this shop before and after new management. The old employees and owners were atrocious, and I did not feel comfortable there physically(I am female), nor giving them my credit card. The current owners are wonderfully knowledgeable, polite and very helpful. Their new stock is amazing! Please ignore old posts about the store, and if you are near Capitol Blvd, go check them out! I wish I could remember the guys name but I don't! I was in yesterday afternoon on my lunch break trying to figure out why a piece I had just purchased wasn't working the way I wanted it to. He helped me both times I was in the store and offered some of the best customer service from a smoke shop I have ever had. He talked me through each piece and didn't mind my annoying questions (which is usually the case with the monotone, bored employees at most smoke shops). I've been to this place twice. The first time the employee there was very friendly and didn't mind my browsing. Today I stopped by again, but a man (I think the owner?) was horrid. The second I walked in the door he was trying to get me out. I had one thing in mind, but other than that I just wanted to browse again. The man was irritable and condescending the entire time. When checking out, he told me to never come in unless I know what I want then get out and told me his men were watching me. Upon checking my ID and noticing the address in Durham, he laughed and accused me of being slow for being from durham. One: I'm not from Durham (and what kind of nasty generalisation is that anyway); two: I had been up for less than an hour, so my head was still in a bit of a fog, but I'm not an idiot; and three: if a customer wants to browse, let them browse. I understand being wary of shoplifters, but telling customers to not come in unless they know what they want and will get out fast is idiotic. i have been coming here for two years. today 10/23/17 i was totally disrespected by an cashier who refused to except my change in his hand. when i tried to give it to him he jerked back and and said put the money on the counter. when he gave my change back he jerked his finger back to the edge of the bill and let it go before i could even grab it. this is a form of being prejudice when the merchant would not want to touch the patrons because of the color of their skin or their nationality. i was angry and appalled when this clerk did this to me. read more
