Our son has been there since he was five months old, and is thriving in the preschool prep. The school itself is sun-filled, clean, and meticulously planned. There's a gym that they use for all kinds of activities, from yoga to riding trikes in doors on cold days. The playground is lovely and the kids are encouraged to play and get dirty. We get lots of updates and pictures throughout the day. The director is active, communicative, and transparent. You can tell the team loves each other, and all the children. Obviously there will be turnover every now and then, that's the nature of early childhood education and having a young staff, but much of the staff has been there the entire three and a half years we've attended. All the food is organic and offers many allergy-friendly options. There's music classes and STEM enrichments. Every day seems like the best day ever -- art, singing, sooo many activities. They do lots of little performances and parent-involved events, and you really do build a community of families. There's a reason there's a waitlist -- once you go Kensington, there's no going back.

Being our first child, we were understandably apprehensive about daycare, but it didn't take long to see how caring each of his teachers were. Every classroom he's been in has been an excellent experience. The teachers are attentive and great at communication. Their Sproutabout app, which they use to send parents updates, is second to none, and being able to check in on the live cameras at any point gave us the transparency we needed to feel comfortable. Please don't think of this as your average daycare. The teachers who care for the kids are truly teaching our little guy so much. Every single day he comes home sharing what he's learned, sharing new experiences, arts and crafts and he genuinely enjoys being there. Lastly, I cannot speak highly enough of the facility leadership. They communicate so well with us, they're always cheerful, and they have strong bonds with the kids who attend. The Directors are supportive, approachable, and truly care about both the staff and the children we serve. They create an environment that values creativity and learning, and it's clear they're passionate about what they do. Administration makes sure that we have everything that we need for our classrooms, lesson plans, and art projects. I have worked at several corporate and private schools where that was not the case, so am very grateful that everything is provided for the teachers. The nature program here is a real highlight. The school offers enriching experiences like gardening, bird watching, and even raising and releasing butterflies, which really engages the kids with the natural world around them.
