Extremely overpriced. Even at 50% off, it's grossly overpriced. Something is super fishy with this company. They can't be making money off the sale. No one is paying $ 350 for a gross La-Z-Boy. $ 375 for a 30-year-old, washed-out, outdoor furniture. Many things are over eBay prices. Large items aren't being sold on eBay. I feel bad for anyone who gets conned into having them host their estate sale. read more

Went yesterday to their sale and asked the lady running the register if the craftsman drill worked and she said they charged the battery and it should,so I gave her $10 and went home and charged the batterys all night,well the damn thing doesn't work and I feel she lied to me so don't believe what they say because I got fkd out of $10. read more

been to many of their sales they always try to put the homeowners first and what's in the best interest of them! Always been fair and honest! they don't like to waver from the rules! Some people don't like that! But I find you always know where you stand with them! I think a lot of people don't know how much work goes into setting up an estate sale! I am an avid estate sale goer and at this point I completely avoid Jolly Estate Sales. They price their items incredibly high and they do not want to negotiate or bundle items, which to me haggling is apart of an estate sale but what do I know....I could be understanding of the high pricing if it was justified but often times they are pricing items for more than they are worth/pricing items based off of what they are selling for on Ebay and if we compare their pricing to the other estate sale companies in the area Jolly Estate Sales are always astronomically higher. In fact it's a running joke between me and my husband when we find a good deal at non-Jolly estate sales we say "At a Jolly Estate sale this would have cost our first born." because that's truly how ridiculous the pricing is at Jolly Estate Sales. And they try to justify their incredibly high prices by saying they do discounts on the last days of sale but first of all even with the discounts their prices are still high and second of all every single estate sale company also gives discounts on the last days of the sale so I am still going to get a better deal going to a different estate sale. I also notice on the last day of their sales they often times still have lots and lots of merchandise left over and I imagine that has to do with the high pricing. It makes me question if these people have ulterior motives and price everything so high so that they can take it and sell it privately after the estate sale and not have to give the homeowner their cut. they don't pay attention to the product being bagged stuck a very fragile piece between the wall of the bag and a hard board sign - of corse it was broken. I have shopped with them twice and find they are over priced like everyone else- second day is half price - seems like that is the best day to go -they did reach out and get back to me on the broken piece and gave me half my money back that is fair I am still so sad it's broken not something u can find everyday. read more

Items were very overpriced. I did buy a couple of things and when I removed a couple of the stickers there were stickers underneath them with prices way way below what I paid. When I checked out they didn't even offer a receipt and when I asked for one it was handwritten on a tag. I am giving two stars because there was one woman who was very nice and very helpful. We stopped into one of this company's sales on our last trip up to the Chicago metroplex and were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and overall presentation of the sale in question. Our cashier even carefully counted back our change (one seldom sees this nowadays!) and fetched bags and wrapping supplies for us. Nice. read more

If your thinking of having an estate sale your better off donating your things to the salvation army as you will get more from the tax write off than these people will make you. Buyers dont waste your time overpriced and not willing to negotiate as they keep all unsold items and then they sell them on ebay, amazon etc... They are very nice people and very friendly. It seems everyone always complains about prices when it comes to Estate Sales. Estate Sales are a really great deal and the companies are in it to make money for their clients. On the last day of the sale most items are 50% off. They are worth checking out for sure! read more

I personally watched this company screw a senior citizen out of a bicycle he wanted to purchase at one of there sales. The senior was in line got his name called he said I'll take the bike, no one before him asked about bike and all walked right by it. After the senior moved bike off to the side like they instruct to do jeff (jolly guy) came out of house and told senior that he couldn't have bike that a guy yelled at him while in the house that he wanted bike. Which is not how they instruct you to do it. When I saw who the guy was he hadn't even made it in house before senior said he'd take it. This was horrible I felt so bad for the old guy. He deserved that bike and Jeff screwed him out of it. read more

I went to one of their ( Jolly estate sales ) sales and found two pair of speakers i have been wanting. Their prices were high , nearly ebay prices but they were in front of me and no shipping. I paid $385 for both pair , got home and found only one out of the four speakers functioned. I returned to the estate sale and informed them of the issues and was told that i could just fix them which would double my cost . Jeff told me that he couldnt return my money because there was another buyer from Milwaukee that wanted them and now hes gone . I asked him if he would feel better selling them to an out of town person that couldnt return them, he didnt respond. Do not waste your time or trust these people , their are other estate sale companies that are reputable , Jolly is not one of them. read more

Jolly Estate Sales, runs a very good sale. They are organized and caring. They want to help families get the most for their belongings. They are ethical, kind and fair! I would trust them, for my family if and when we needed to have a sale! Prices, may seem high on first day but you can take a chance and pay less tomorrow, but I may like it the first day and buy it!
