The highlight here is the effervescently friendly staff. They are so sweet and charming the cook to order wait time is forgiveable.
The cucumber calamansi drink was yummy but a bit on the sweet side for me.
The Nasi Lemak rice was spot on, and so was the sambal provided. The roasted peanuts and fried anchovies were also crunchy and fresh, and the hard boiled egg had golden yolk!
The chicken satay was alright--mild curry powder seasoning and a small amount of peanut sauce. The staff who brought out the satay dropped a skewer, apologized, and grilled a replacement without being asked then served it sweetly!
The Chicken chop had delicious fries and coleslaw, and the chicken itself was moist but had a strange seasoning on it I could not recognize as Malaysian.
All in all with the prices being reasonably low, I enjoyed this experience!
Addendum: later that night, we ordered late night delivery (they close at 6am) for the Cheese and Onion beef burger and quesadillas. Both were better than the entrees listed above! The burger is exactly like what you get off Malaysia's streetfood scene minus the fried egg. And the quesadillas were actually quite good! read more
