The place was already pretty busy at that time. We made the journey here specifically for the bone marrow (which they call 'butter of God'). We were lucky enough to get the last 2 orders before they sold out! Apparently they get their shipment of marrow in the evening or maybe specifically Monday after 5, so you may have better luck around then in case they do sell out. Also, you get to use the bone afterwards as a luge for the shot of vodka they provide with the order lol. The bone marrow was sooo flavorful and rich. It also came with a lot of marrow, you will definitely get your money's worth! The 2 bone narrows were enough for our party of 4 (along with a few other plates of items mentioned below). The sizzling sisig was also good! The crispy pata wasn't bad, but it was kinda tough. I would avoid getting the dimsum platter, the dumplings were dried out and not appetizing. I don't remember yesterday's server but today was Tammy. Both servers were absolutely fantastic. Attentive, polite, friendly, I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Yesterday my husband had the Hungarian pizza and I had the pasta Muelle. Tonight he had the beef tenderloin and I had the chicken adobo pasta. As I have mentioned, I have not tried their bread but both my mom and dad always ask me to buy their multigrain bread for them whenever they know I am planning to visit. Whenever I get too lazy to go out because of the brutal heat (Philippine weather), I order via Grab. Tip your rider, people. I saw several wait for 20-30 minutes for orders while I was eating there.

The breads have fallen seriously off after the covid breakout: even my favourite multi-grain is less substantial. The 'sourdough' bread has no starter in it (the premix fermentation process that makes is sour and nicely-flavoured), and therefore is NOT sourdough bread at all. This dishonesty factor alone put us off! The meals have never been that good. I think owner Buboy the owner tries, but their slab-bacon breakfast is just fried fatty pork belly instead of smoked bacon. The huge black Angus burger looks great, but on the third time it just wasn't that tasty (maybe a different cook), and the other dishes are off. The only pasta we like is olive oil and garlic, but at home I can easily equal it. As well, the meals all are pricey compared to what you get. As I've found two better places for bread, we now don't go there for anything (you know, honesty does count for something!).

I've had better siopaos in the Philippines ... in my opinion the convenient store 7/11 has better tasting ones. I mean in terms of fluffiness, their siopao is better than Chow Kings. My cousin even said their siopao in Kong Kee didn't taste the same as they remembered. The little vinegar sauce to go with the siopao is what I used to mask some of the flavors of the filling. And their pancit I'm guessing is a twist of Chinese influence ... it was quite saucy and it somewhat tasted smokey-burnt. So it was kind of upsetting. Understandably in the Philippines the food portion is on a smaller scale, and I didn't want to waste the pancit so I just had to finish it. I also placed my order for take out, and service was lacking. The ladies almost made it feel like they didn't want to take our order. Just glad I decided to do take out.
