Perhaps his time would be better served to work harder to get better reviews instead of harassing me to remove my previous review. He did contact me to ask what he could do. At that point it all had been done. He blew me off when I called him about the timely delivery of the job. He missed his opportunity to correct the situation. After he discovered my review he called to ask me numerous times to remove it. I told him I would consider updating it. I decided it is an honest review. So I let it stand. Ryan then proceeded to text my husband numerous times asking for review to be removed. He texted my husband 8/7/25, 8/11/25, 12/22/25 and the last one 1/14/26. I actually blocked him on my phone due to his harassment. Now he is posting a false statement of facts. I am not sure of what damages he is referring to me not wanting to pay for. I never threatened him in any kind of way. And yes his employee was in an accident. His steering went out. He called me to let me know. I was inquired of his well being. He stated he was ok the vehicle unfortunately was not. I was simply stating a timeline of missed appointments on their part. Chris and his assistant stained and sealed our driveway and garage floor and it was a perfect match…read moreto our home exterior and landscaping. Chris does not have an easy job though! I'm making a note here that one of the trickiest things about staining concrete is that the colour richness and hue does not really take hold until the seal and/or epoxy is applied. We went through this exercise during the staining process (as I expressed some concern for the lightness of the stain) and Chris explained the process with patience, kindness and consideration. At no point was I pressured, lied to, bullshitted or hustled to make a fast-decision or accept a job I was not happy with. He assured me that the colour would be what we wanted once sealed, and lo... it was. :) Chris knows what he is doing and his rate was competitive too! After almost an entire year spent renovating our home and working with a host of cast and characters from the Fresno area, Chris from Surface Solutions was like a gift from the Gods. A contractor who showed up on time, didn't cancel, answered his phone, stuck to his quote, and produced a gorgeous end-result was a sheer delight to work with.
