I cannot say enough words as to how happy I am that I found Jon Richards salon I was in a panic my hair was a horrible hot mess I thought I would basically have to shave it all off I was given the name of Jon Richard salon so another stylist which by the way was very thoughtful I made my appointment the same day I called they immediately took me in and gave me a stylist named Brittany she was extremely knowledgeable professional sweet friendly and the girl knew her s*** she literally transformed my hair from such an awful mess that I thought was not salvageable and turned it into a beautiful healthy head of hair thank you so much Brittany I will definitely be back she performed a fantastic cut color highlight several deep cleansing procedures and deep conditioning for procedures and I couldn't be happier if there were 10 Stars up there I would have lit them all up. Besides Brittany the John Richards Salon staff we're all very nice helpful and they all had each other's back making it a very very pleasant experience again thank you so much Brittany I'm certainly going to pass the word out thank you all at the Jon Richard salon! I have lived in Rhode Island for many years. I have been to many salons and stylists but could never find the right fit for me. I was searching for someone who would listen to me and not take a drastic approach to cut and color when drastic was not what I was looking for. My daughter stumbled upon an excellent stylist at Jon Richard Salon in East Greenwich named Aree Silk. Aree is very talented, dedicated, knowledgeable and up to date in her field! She takes her time to fully understand ones needs and proceeds at the clients pace. I have never left a salon so happy with my haircut and color! I have referred several people to her..all satisfied customers! The salon is clean, bright and professional. The staff is welcoming and awesome! Amazing, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly staff! Michelle, Jordan, and Nicole are fantastic! I starting coming here about a year ago with a dreaded "color mullet" basically I let my bleached hair grow out to the point that I had two different hair colors going on. Michelle made me feel comfortable about the whole process she color corrected me and left my bleached hair feeling healthy manageable and all one beautifully blended color! I have been coming to see her ever since. She is definitely a master of color! Jordan is amazing at nail care .. my nails are brittle and thin and my cuticle and are dry and cracked. I have always had acrylics because I never thought I could have my own natural nails.. after some TLC and a few fabulous manicures, my nails are well on their way to pure fabulousness! Michelle is an artist! She really takes the time to understand your specific hair and how it behaves. She not only knows the science of why and how your hair is the way it is but she takes the time to explain everything and how you can benefit by doing certain things while styling. Step by step, she showed me how to care for my hair. I've been to some of the premier hairstylists in New York, Philadelphia and Atlanta but I have never met anyone like Michelle. Aside from being fantastic at cutting hair, she is so friendly, caring, compassionate and she makes you feel very special. Now my whole family goes there and we all look forward to our visits. First off the salon is beautiful. It is very modern but welcoming you just feel relaxed when you walk in the door. Everyone in the salon is professional and friendly. My favorite thing is the sink chairs they are so comfortable I almost feel asleep. My stylist is Desirae Mazzucco she is very professional listens to what I would like to achieve and explains the whole process so it eases my worries. When I leave the salon I always feel like I need to go out that night and show it off. I get complements almost daily and it's because of her magic to my hair. Jorden is a very talented stylist. She listens and always delivers what I want, but she also advises me on what will work for me. She's great with short hair, too, and color. I finally have the haircut and color I want ... and I know that I can always go to her if I'm ready for a change and she will be accepting and positive and make it happen. I also like how the stylists work well with each other and are all focused on the customer. Aree is the best hairdresser. She is meticulous and kind, and will give you a haircut that suits you to a tee. I have a LOT of straight hair, but every time I see Aree she makes sure that every single hair is cut perfectly. I have been to this salon a few times and I am very happy that I tried it out. I got my hair cut & colored by Aree and she did such a beautiful job! I started going to see Jorden after my previous stylist left the area. She does an awesome job with my long curly hair. My daughters (11 and 14) have similar hair, and both love to go see her too. She takes the time to get to know each of us and makes suggestions that work well for each hair type. She also did some color repair for my teen after some unevenness caused by Sun-in. This is the only place I've ever been that gets it right. I see Aree about every 8 weeks and she is phenomenal! My hair is curly, frizzy, and goes in a million directions. Anywhere else I've been just has me cut it really short. But Ari works with my curls to give me the best cuts ever. Plus she was able to reccomend great products for me to use to tame my mane! Jorden has this amazing talent when it comes to blow outs. I have very stubborn frizzy hair, and she knows exactly how to work it. If you want sleek, voluminous hair with either a twerl or straight she is your girl. My blowouts last at least 5-7 days with no touch up with any hot tools from myself!!! The other great thing is she has a blowout punch car, the 5th one you get free! Higly recomend ! read more
