Went here for the 1st time Today Tuesday June 30th 2026 to finally get a haircut! For background, I relocated from NY to Here, that means had to find a new hairstylist. And was also a little anxious because I wear hearing aids, take them out when getting a haircut and had a stylist once (at a different location no where near here!) in which i couldn't hear and it ruined the whole experience. My mom made an appointment online for me, originally with nicole. On Saturday, and a little annoying because I was at work, and thank goodness I had time to answer my phone, but the receptionist danielle called me and said that Nicole no longer works there, but can switch to Margaret. I said sure and that was that. Now because I was at work, I don't understand why she could have just changed that via their website or via a text. Just some feedback. Anyways, First time in this Salon, walked in and had to wait a while to get checked in. Finally someone came and checked me in. She was pleasant. Then after a few minute Margaret came out and gave me a warm welcome. My mom was also there, but as moral support and as support for my hard of hearing, as she told her about it. She seemed to understand because she spoke loud enough where I can hear. And told her exactly what I wanted, which was a trim (about 3 inches), and what kind of style i wanted. First Margaret Dry cut it, then we shampooed and conditioned, then cut again, and dried the hair in a wavy pattern that looked straight. however, I absolutely loved my new look for the day. Price was 67.00, now on their website it does say haircuts are $40.00 and the add ons like shampoo and blowout add cost to it. But anyways, I think it was a reasonable price. I moved from a metropolitan area a few months ago. Being very particular, durning my search, I was routed to Carly. After talking to Carly about color, I ended up going for a lighter shade and shortened my hair to an adorable and estyle. She did an incredible job lifting my brunette to a honey blonde. Getting my hair done is a little self care thing I do for myself. A really good haircut is not always easy to find. It's not really about the cost but more of finding that stylist that understands what you want but also offers valuable input of what will work with you hair type, facial features, age etc. Let's face it a really good stylist is a skilled artist. Joann does such a great job on my hair. She always takes extra time blowing it out and styling it, to help me feel my best. I enjoying chatting with her as well, she's very genuine. I sadly didn't end up loving my hair.. I was wanting a golden blonde all over and left with brown with ash blonde highlights.. I did inform the stylist that this is not what I wanted and she told me to "wash it and I will end up loving it". My hair is fried at the ends and dry..worse than what I started with sadly. I have sat with this for over a week waiting to see if I would but sadly I don't. I paid $424 plus a 20% tip which is pricy for highlights and a trim in my eyes. We tried to find a location available for hair and makeup for an event in October and everything was booked. Fortunately, this place had availability and they were able to accommodate (3) of us for hair and makeup. The hair was phenomenal! No issues there. We showed a few pictures and they were able to get the job done! The makeup artist doesn't seem to be familiar/comfortable with people of different skin color. I say that as someone who has a caramel skin complexion. The air brush makeup and contouring made me look like as if I was at the Jersey Shore in the early 2000's. Heavy makeup, even though I said I do not wear makeup and was only looking for a fresh, clean face. Nothing crazy. Because I have brown eyes, the color purple was recommended to me and I kindly refused. It was offered again and I refused, again. After the eye makeup was done she showed me the look and I wasn't happy. It was too much makeup and she fixed it. But, there was just too much to fix and we were running out of time. She finished and I left straight to ULTA to purchase back up makeup and fix my face at the hotel. The eyelashes fell off about an hour into the event. Apparently the original makeup artist had quit the day before we were scheduled and the lady we had was back from maternity leave. She was super sweet and did a great job on my friend with much lighter skin. My other friend had the same issue I did and we share the similar skin color. Will be back for hair, but probably never again for makeup. read more

A salon I would never recommend to my enemies. They only care about money & put words in your mouth. I was a client (NEVER AGAIN) there & they claimed I said this & that, blah, blah, blah. First and foremost everyone is wearing a mask ! Upscale salon located in Carolina Forest. Plenty of parking and friendly staff. I found Jane through a post related to finding a nail salon in our community. There are 2 chairs that are very comfortable and you are set back away from those getting their hair done. I was delighted with Jane because I explained my situation with my big toes and how she took her time to make sure it was done right AND IT WAS ! While visiting myrtle beach this week, my manicure chipped. Some family here recommended Jonas Marc to me above any other place. I called and made an appointment and was able to get one same day. I ended up getting a mani and a pedi, because well.. why not, right?! My nail tech was Whitney and boy am i happy i came in. Whitney was fantastic. She asked me all the right questions- water temperature, length, shape, and if at any point she hurt me during the filing and shaping. My gel manicure was super difficult to remove to due the last place i went but Whitney took all the right steps to get the gel off with out damaging my nails. I am SO happy with my services today and next time i am in town, i will 100% be making an appointment! read more

Called Friday to get an appointment, my hair needed some love. They booked me for Tuesday with Erica, she was amazing! My hair was really knotty and she gave some suggestions as to what I could do but didn't push any specific products on me. I hate when I feel pressured to buy extra stuff. All of her suggestions were just that, suggestions, no pressure. She even explained a service she does with root touch ups for people who don't want to or can't afford to be at the salon constantly. Basically after a consultation and hair dye service, she will mix salon quality dye to your specific color and you can do it yourself at home! Had a haircut at this salon with a very novice stylist. I came in with shoulder length hair, asked for an inch off and clean up the layers about a 1/2 inch. Showed her several photos , which included a goal hair style. I told her don't make my bangs short and as you can see from the photo I don't have any bangs left. She also took off over 5 inches, which I had to make even shorter do to her terrible cutting technique, as seen in photos. This was not a mistake or a misunderstanding or even a miscommunication this was just plain and simple lack of experience. I was told she had been In The industry 8 to 9 years but in truth, she has barely 6 years experience. After talking to the owner she did refund my charge for the haircut, citing it was a mistake and that I didn't like the results. Clearly this stylist needs more training. The haircut was such a mess , I have tried to fix it myself (retired stylist myself) but it is still A mess. The haircut on Me is so upsetting that I can't bare to look in the mirror. The more I try to work with this cut the worst look I get. This whole thing is very upsetting since it has taken me 10 plus months to grow out. It has been almost 40 years since I have been able to have a longer style do to health issues and now I have to start all over again. My self esteem is so low I cried all night and dreaded going to work to face my coworkers and the public. read more

My grandmother recently moved to the area and we needed a spa day so I called the salon and they were able to fit us in same-day(woohoo!)! The salon is beautiful and clean and the staff is incredible. My grandmother had wonderful Whitney who did a manicure, pedicure, and cut/shampoo. Had a fabulous appointment with Chelsea on 5/31/18. Most importantly she corrected a terrible fashion color dye job that I received in Indiana. I provided the specific brand and color I wanted when I made my appointment. She went out of her way to obtain it. She was thorough in discussing what I wanted and made it happen. I have short hair and she razored it perfectly. She tried everything possible to clean up the color from the edges of my face, neck, and ears.
