Waited months after being promised service within a set time frame. Drove across town to drop off chair and fabric, only to find a flimsy paper sign on door stating they were closed for a week. Wasted time, money, and fuel. Company would not even come to get the item, after they wasted so much of our time. Find a company that cares about your time, and gives realistic timeframes. read more

Jones Upholstery, LLC, is a local workshop that's been owned and operated by Randy Jones for more than 30 years. It has been featured in major interior design publications as a hidden gem, providing world-class quality, and service. We specialize in Furniture upholstery, Residential and Commercial. We have a full line of Quality upholstery grade fabrics, vinyls, and leathers. We also sell small quantities of upholstery supplies for the hobbyist. We keep about 3-4 months of work on our list at all times. History

Established in 1992.

We are a local business that was started by Randy Jones in 1992 and is still operating under his direct ownership and management. We specialize in furniture upholstery for consumers and many businesses in the Leon County area.

Meet the Business Owner: Randy J.

I started in this trade with my Dad in 1969 in Lake City Florida. After many years working with him I relocated to Tallahassee and started my own business in 1992. I have always specialized in the Furniture Upholstery and in 1998 brought on David Lee Richardson to help with the growing demand of our business. He continues to be my lead upholsterer in our business and is by far one of the best in our trade. We later added Peter Clifford as an apprentice in March of 2022 and he is working out very nice learning the trade. We don't have any plans on retiring but wanted to leave a capable upholsterer after David and I are no longer working in the trade. We hope to have many more years to work with our younger upholsterer to develop our techniques and tricks of the trade. We are fortunate to have such a great cast of customers to work with in the Tallahassee area that keeps us 3 months backlogged all the time.

We have been a family run operation for over 30 years. We are now the last furniture upholstery shop in Tallahassee. We only work on Furniture and have over 60 years of experience between David and I. We have been training a new apprentice for a year in hopes of leaving someone behind in this trade when we retire.
