I've been coming here since I was a teenager with my family. Actually to this day there are still some vendors that are still there! All kinds of stuff here. I mean, its a flea market! You can find anything from food to clothes to wild and weird items, dvd's, and even smoking pipes and knives. If you can't find something, ask! Yeah its a bit dirty inside, sometimes even cold. But they have bathrooms! When its nice outside in the summer, people will set up outside and have plants and produce for sale too. Def a great addition to the area for people to waste some time and maybe happen upon something cool in the process. read more

It surprises me when someone doesn't like a flea market of this MAGNITUDE. First off, sadly, around this particular area of PA there really isn't anything like it anymore. We used to have one near Pittsburgh in an abandoned mall, and one in Latrobe at the Drive-In which was razed to build a sigh...CVS a few years ago. Jonnet has been around a long time, used to be an old car dealership. Now, it is a thing of legend. Like many year-round flea markets, Jonnet has a number of regulars who rent out permanent spaces. They can tend to have the same things, but several of them price very reasonably and if you come every few months you'll find they've moved stuff pretty quickly. Outside, during warmer months or even colder ones for the insane, is where you get your variety of noobs. There are the occasional regulars outside, but the majority are people who come for one time only with the usual hodge-podge of things. Inside there's a section that also features noobs intermixed with renters. Either way, there is plenty to look at here. Dirty? IT'S A FLEA MARKET. Don't you get it? The term comes from the idea that anything with fabric is filled with fleas, otherwise known as DIRTY. But it's really not that bad, it isn't. If you've never been to a flea market you don't belong here anyway. And THE FOOD. OH YES. Absolutely, disgustingly greasy. Horrible for anything alive, but SO GOOD. most of the stuff is dusted off land fill. very expensive if it has anything to do with collectables, even if its in poor shape. they almost look mad at you if you dont buy something at their stand. the 12 hot dogs for a dollar is a good find if you dont mind food poisening. really guys, after they turn green, throw it away. im kidding about the 12 for a dollar, but its close. we love to people watch, so if you like to see what the hills have to offer, take a ride to blairsville and see the next cast of "the hills have eyes" read more

Ahh, yes! This has been here since dirt I believe. It is what it is. Local hicks selling guns and knives, along with porno 'grab bags' for $5. Last time I went I overheard a seller saying, "Watch him, his pants are baggy." I have made some nice finds here though, so that's why I'm giving it 4/5. read more

I am a seller at the Jonnet Flea market and so far the previous two comments about the experience at the flea market have been mainly negitive. My thought on this is, if you don't like it don't do come anymore but keep rude comments you may have to yourself. The flea market is a fun way to spend an hour or so looking at all different types of items. Even if you don't buy. Slander is a criminal offense, please be a little kinder with comments made, or keep them to yourself. Such comments say more about the person posting it than it does about the flea market itself. I had a real nice time here today. The vendors outside were polite and I ended up buying a few things. I can't say the same thing for the inside vendors. I didn't talk to many but the two that I did were very rude. One in particular (coin seller) was possibly the worst vendor I have ever dealt with. I ended up walking away because of his arrogance and demeanor. A VERY poor salesman. I ended up finding something better outside and purchased that instead. My advise to him is be respectful and remember that when treated with kindness and respect people will want to frequent your booth. I will come back in a few months to see what new things I can find. read more

Now here's the thing- the Jonnet Flea Market is an experience. Does one really go there to buy things? Maybe not. But it is for sure worth at least one visit. As stated in previous reviews, the front section seems to have much less substantial items. If you're looking for antique jewelry, odd knick knacks, and salt and pepper shakers, this section is for you. However, the items of substance are in the back where one can find large furniture, and the the "stands" are much larger and fill whole rooms. Make sure to go all the way to the back, as this is where the best deals are found. The food. Don't try it. You WILL regret it. Definitely not safe to consume, and when you purchase it, the vendors will force you to sit down and eat it. Whoever Sharon is, she REALLY has monopoly over the food game at Jonnet. Is she the best of cooks? No where near. But can we get everything we want in a rinky dink flea market? Of course not. So take the trip to Jonnet, buy your $1.50 gelatinous cheese fries, and sit down and enjoy the cable TV. read more

Obviously the other 2 reviewers haven't been to Jonnet since 2011. A new front has been put on the building. Nice new sign. New restaurant now called Sharon's Café. Excellent food, They used to run a restaurant before they took up this one. Great Strip District Sandwich. Linda's Snack Bar has redecorated and along with their tasty food has a goodly variety of home baked bakery selections.. Both friendly eateries serve a great hot dinner every weekend. No one sells 12 hot dogs for a dollar. Dogs are 75 cents or 1.00 each. Many new vendors, with the old standby's still here. Many new outdoor vendors. It's packed outside on the weekend. 3 acres under roof. Many good finds at great prices. The vendors are friendly and willing to help. Come on over and see the new face of Jonnet. Some vendors take cards, but wise to bring cash . The closest ATM is at PNC Bank in Blairsville or Wal-Mart in Blairsville, both 2 miles east of Jonnet. read more
