Came here on a recommendation and now I know why. Great selection of local and other beers on tap, and the pizzas and lavash (flatbread) are amazing. The staff are friendly and attentive, even when the place was slammed for dinner. The manager was making rounds checking each table to be sure the patrons were well taken care of. Always looking for new places to eat. Sadly we will not go back here again. The waitress was the rudest waitress we have ever had. We debated getting back up and walking out. Due to her being rude I wasn't able to ask the proper questions about the food. Therefor ended up not getting what I wanted. It was a bit busy when we went to eat here. Around 2ish on a Friday afternoon. Our waitress was the bartender and had her hands full. It was hard to get her attention at times but other than that it was ok. My family ordered the 24 count Spicy Garlic chicken wings, 8 count Buffalo chicken wings, Goat cheese salad, and a 16 inch half "German" and half "The Gatherer". My mom didn't get her Goat Cheese salad what she asked for... We didn't remind the waitress on our salad cause we were already waiting for a long time for our food. Expect to wait a good while for the food to be made. The Spicy Garlic chicken wings kind of had a chicken teriyaki taste to it as well. Not sure if they cooked it together with the sauce? The pizza came out relatively speedy despite it being extremely busy that night. Priced reasonably. The atmosphere is very nice for a small town establishment. Downsides? asked for extra tomato sauce, but it didn't really seem like it had extra sauce. I asked for fresh basil and olives on my half. It came out with green olives, strangely. A couple days ago my wife and I ate here for the third time. Unfortunately, each time has gotten worse and worse in many different aspects. This last time around, we were 2 of only maybe 8 or 10 in the place. We put our drink orders in and our food orders and waited. And waited and waited and waited. Other tables came in while we were waiting and their food was coming out before we got ours. Finally our waitress came over and told us our food should be up as soon as possible and that there was "an issue with the chicken for the wings and they had to start over." Needless to say I appreciated the honesty but was wondering if the chicken has gone bad or been contaminated or what. We finally got our food after almost a 45+ minute wait and no one even asked if we needed any refills at all. My wife's Philly cheese steak sandwich had maybe 2 thin slices of meat in it and the rest was bread. Fries were still raw and barely room temperature. Unfortunately we will not he returning to this establishment. Sad too considering they do have semi-decent pizzas on the menu but not good enough to make up for service that continues to get poorer and poorer. You're almost better off getting a take and bake pizza from Papa Murphy's. At least they make their product right in front of you. read more

We stopped here on our way through Jamestown. Overall our experience was really good. We ordered the spinach queso and Buffalo chicken rolls for appetizers and a pizza. A couple of people in our group ordered sandwiches with sweet potato fries. The pizza was fantastic. The crust was thin and perfectly cooked. The sauce is apparently homemade and it was delicious. There's nothing negative I can say about the pizza. The appetizers in general were underwhelming. At the very least I thought the queso needed more salt. It was quite underseasoned. The Buffalo chicken rolls were ok, but again needed more seasoning. I didn't eat the sandwiches, but the reviews by those who ate them were very positive. I tried the sweet potato fries and they were by far the best I've ever eaten. I've eaten them at a lot of different places and my main criticism is that they tend to be soggy and lack flavor. That is not the case here. Love love love the fries. There are a couple things that could be tweaked that would make a world of difference, but overall I was really happy with the food. Next time I drive through Jamestown, I'll definitely make it a point to stop here again. read more

By far best place in town. I say that even though the pizza I got was on fucked up dough that flopped over under its own weight like a gooey over proofed mess. The toppings were good at least. Got the nachos, which would have been very good, except under the cheese was completely unnecessary lukewarm blobs of nebulous "queso" lurking like bits of phlegm. The do have like 30 good beers on tap and the owner's brother is in there working every single night. Waitstaff other than him seem clueless or could give a fuck though. We stopped for lunch on a road trip from Wisconsin to Oregon. Lunch was not bad....not great....but not bad. We each had something wildly different and while nobody complained, nobody raved either. Well, we've been here twice now and they've only been opened just over a week. Everything's looking good. I think they have nailed it. Pizzas are good and its great that they brought something new to Jamestown - wood fire. Vegetable ingredients seem to be really good although the meat toppings especially the pepperoni seem to be more Hormel then what you would expect on a gourmet pizza. It would be nice to see something a bit different even Boars Head brand that would add a little spiciness to their pepperoni. But hey, that's probably being pretty picky and yet it seems that the top pizza places in the country do not go mainstream. Beer: this is hands down the best selection in town. Only second to IDK. What they have on tap rivals the best bars of Fargo. Service: to early to tell. They are so busy that I think they're having a hard time keeping up. Hopefully soon they will have it down so that everyone walking in will be greeted and found a place to sit. Right now it's a bit chaotic. read more

Wow. Looked up info on the phone place online and it said they are open until 10:00pm. So I drive all the way there at 9:00pm in 5 degree weather, when I get there they said that they shut the kitchen down early because they were slow. What a waist of my time. If you have a business and say your open until 10:00pm you ate supposed to be open until 10:00pm. Or change your hours of operation. Thanks for waisting my time. read more
