This body shop is just great! Good people. I had a situation with my trunk latch. Dealer wanted $450 to replace latch which didn't seem to us like the real problem. Jon's had repaired my husbands car after hitting an animal and he was very pleased so he said take it there and see what they say. They worked on it about 45 minutes and were able to fix it. I'm not complaining about the dealer I know they have to repair to factory specs but I just don't want to spend $450 if it's not necessary!!! read more

Wind sprung door open. So door and fender touching and paint rubbed off. Door wouldn't open. Took to jons body shop and during the estimate the guy took car in and got door hinges fixed so door would open for no charge. Then gave me estimates for painting door and fender (the best way) and estimate for just fitting the fender and touching up edge of door and fender. Couldn't afford the repaint(reasonable price just wasn't in my budget). So had them fit fender and touch up paint. $50. Well picked up and fit wasn't much better. And touch up paint was HORRIBLE. Now I know won't be perfect with just touch up but heck there was still bare metal spots showing on edge that was supposed to be touched up. ( now will rust) When I said something there answer was that well we can see if we have some of the touch up paint left and you can take with you. They wanted me to do it. But I thought that's what I was paying them to do? Well I guess you want something done right you do it yourself. Only reason I payed was because they got door opening and closing right during the estimate for no charge. Other than that the guy couldn't even touch up paint a few spots right so how could he repaint a whole fender and door right? read more

I got my car repaired here after a wreck. I was quite annoyed that they took way longer than they said it would take to fix the damage and never contacted me to tell me what was going on. They told me to bring my car in on a certain date to get it started, but didn't start working on it for another week because there was a delay on getting parts. Meanwhile I had to pay for a rental the whole time! This could have definitely been arranged more efficiently. But, all of that aside, I was very pleasantly surprised to see when I picked up my car that they had not only fixed everything they were supposed to, but they also repaired a dent on the other fender that was totally unrelated and I had not even asked them to fix! That had to cost a lot of labor, parts, etc. I am very thankful for the work they did and I appreciate that they went the extra mile. The owner was very friendly and he even works in the office, answering the phone. He was nice to work with. I would recommend taking your car here, just make sure you are clear with them before you take your car in that they have all the parts in the shop so you aren't paying them to babysit your car in the parking lot, or paying extra days for a rental. read more

AVOID DOING BUSINESS HERE. Jon's Body Shop engages in dishonest practices. As an elderly customer on a limited budget I was recommended here for estimate for repair damage. I decided to move forward with part of repairs. I called back to approve the repair of headlight. I asked to confirm the price I was given in written estimate was still correct without any further charges. I was told yes. A week later I called to inquire since the part had to be ordered. I was told the part wasn't available any longer from that vendor and from another vendor would be 100.00 more than 276 I was quoted. I explained that I couldn't afford that and I was told they were sorry. When my daughter called the manager - Jon who refused to give his last name to her - he said "I won't work for free" when asked why they will not honor the written price and verbal price quoted last week. He admitted the ball was dropped to order the part. He said that "no one is putting a gun to her head to come here." My daughter explained that I recently had knee surgery and can't drive far distances and Jon's was recommended. He refuses to honor the price and said he would call me next day - which he never did. Jon talked to my daughter very rudely. I was appalled at such behavior, and have a good mind to take my business elsewhere as suggested. I hope you would look into the matter, and make sure such an incident is not repeated. How sad to take advantage of elderly customers! read more
