Been to this…read moreshop before, but always dealt with salespeople/techs, not Tom Schneider the owner as I did this time. So wife is upset I switched her seat out and wants the original put back in. I hadn't picked it up yet so I called Tom apologetically and asked him to put the original seat back on. He said he threw it in the dumpster. When I told him that this was not a seat swap but a new seat purchase, and that I wanted the old seat back, that it was not his right to throw the original seat away, he blew up at me on the phone. Absolutely volatile this guy! No filter, no professional emotional behavior check, just verbally nasty and abusive. Tom told me he would undo whatever I was paying him to do, and to come get my bike, and he hung up on me. When I got there my wife's bike was by the front door. The original seat wasn't, so I asked about it, and he went fuming to the back to look for it. Wow!! This could have been handled so easily by him, but he reminded me that he's been doing this a long time, his point being that I was wrong not him. This may be the closest bike shop around for my family, and I have been going here for years, but this experience with the OWNER just severed all future service or sales needs at ALL Open Road shops. I figure if there's one here there's probably others like him elsewhere. Just my decision, you decide at your own misfortunate visit.

Some clothes are pretty chuegy and copy and paste (things you'd find on amazon or hot topic) though other items like the train veil skirt are amazing! But the issue is... They can't seem to keep the business open. Visited first time December 2021 and it was nice, but since then i've never been able to go again??? Visited December 2023- almost everything was gone from the mall, few things left. Most racks were gone besides a few things that looked like Windsor homecoming dresses. Now visiting again in June 2023 and the store is... gone until August? I drive 2 hours to get here for nothing, it's really annoying. There aren't many good alternative clothing stores in florida and subculture was one of them. Supply is small but demand is plenty, how is business bad? I mean in 7 months i would have assumed subculture would have moved locations, not temporarily closed. Go to ravens and rockers in Lake Magdalene instead, more options and even a thrift section. They have tripp nyc all the way to bodyline, good range for all styles.
