I'm a donut guy, no doubt about it. This style of donut is obviously popular with a competitor in the area that I don't really want to support. The donut is a small cake donut with the toppings applied per order. These come out to $10 per dozen, which is what you could roughly pay for full size donuts elsewhere. I don't really get into the novelty of applying toppings per order as I tend to eat basic donuts (glazed, sprinkles, etc) but if unique flavor combos are your thing this would be up your alley. Compared to Duck Donuts I actually like that they don't apply for the toppings while the donut is hot as they just melt right off. That said, this is a truck in the winter and the donuts were cold. However, I did find them to taste fresh and not overly greasy which is good. In a pinch, I'd definitely be back - not really my style but worth supporting... We ordered an assortment and I really enjoyed what I had. While some of the "flavors" didn't exactly match up to the name, I still enjoyed what I had. The donuts were extremely fresh and what I enjoyed the most. The toppings, as I mentioned don't seem to taste exactly like the name, but I still liked them. My experience at the truck was fine, I didn't find the folks to be like what others said. I had a positive experience and would go again. After reading about this place in the newspaper I decided to stop in and check it out. Using family recipes made in store Jordan's sells mini donuts where you can either top it with a flavored icing or glaze. They do not sell regular size donuts. As a novelty you can purchase what they call "donuts in a jar". They come in two sizes and price is determined according to size chosen. As I was speaking with the counter lady I was told that they make one standard cake donut that really could be compared to a funnel cake. The added flavor to the donut comes from the topping you chose to put on it. Their cheapest option is two mini donuts for $2.00. I decided to purchase one iced and one glazed. For my iced donut I chose the traditional chocolate and for my glazed I chose the blueberry. They have a new flavor called "churro" which consists of light sugar kane glaze and cinnamon powdered sugar but I thought that would be just too sweet for me. They also use door dash as a delivery system as well as donuts in a jar fundraising. You can also preorder donuts online in advance for pickup. In addition to donuts, they also sell Teeshirts with their names on it. I tried a little of each flavor when I got my two home. As I was told the donut tasted like a funnel cake but both the chocolate icing and the blueberry glaze on each of them made them more enjoyable. Most donut shops close earlier in the day but depending upon what day of the week you visit they do have afternoon hours. This was a big disappointment. The donuts were greasy and the icing bland. Not to mention the store was not clean and the containers of icing had dried layer ring around them! It was good they labeled the box under the donuts because the flavors were so alike it was hard to tell the difference. We tried the salted caramel, chocolate iced, orange, maple bacon. The chocolate iced was a melted mess and so was the salted caramel. The 'donuts in a jar' product looked gross because it was broken up donut pieces and blobs if icing stuffed in a mason jar. Did not look edible at all. Sorry but we won't be back. Reply: As a baker I understand the difference between glaze and icing but I did incorrectly quote the topping type. Sorry for the misquote. I've tried to get to their truck location several times and they've sold out. I was so excited to finally get them, but the lady was not friendly and actually rude. They ask cash or credit and I used credit. She didn't tell me the amount before she charged my card. When I was told the amount I was like is there a card surcharge? She said yes, I said I wish you would have told me I have cash. Her response was just I can't tell everyone. Why would you not post a sign then? These are already expense little bite size donuts, I don't want an unknown up charge too. The test isn't anything great. Some don't taste like the name at all. The icing is more glaze than a true frosting regardless of the type you try (we had 12). My whole family agreed these aren't that great. Stopped here a couple weeks ago for the first time. I was so excited to try the donuts, as there is a similar place in my favorite vacation spot and I was hoping for one here now too. I told the owner (I believe) how excited I was to try the donuts and it was my first time in. Blank stare, not even a half smile. Still enthusiastic, I asked her favorites, or any recommendations. She shrugged her shoulders and said she liked I think it was vanilla glaze or something. Monotone. That was it. I wanted so bad to love this place, tried to engage in conversation and share my excitement about the business..but it just wasn't there. The donuts weren't bad, weren't great. I expected them fresher, I was there around 9am. They were just a little dry. The toppings were good and there was a good selection. Definitely a little pricy. Update: I went back last week to try it out again, and I wanted a treat to take to work. It was like night and day compared to my last trip. Lots of variety. Menu is very cool based on the type of icing such as dessert, lunch, etc. The donut itself are all the same from what I can tell. Flavor is all in the icing. They write on the lid of the container so when you open it it corresponds to the correct donut. Jordan's Donuts is a local family owned donut shop. After just one visit, I quickly came to the conclusion that Jordan's is by far one of the best donut shops in town. Their donuts are baked fresh and iced to order. There's a wide variety of 30+ flavors so they're plenty of options to choose from. Some say the donuts are greasy, but what do you expect when you're getting a fresh batch straight out of the oil. Customer service was definitely one of the many highlights during my visit. All of my colleagues at work thoroughly enjoyed the donuts and couldn't stop raving about them. I made another trip the very next day to pick up another dozen for the work office. They're very welcoming and they also remembered me and my order on my second visit. Very bad experience! My daughter was excited to try this new doughnut shop that recently opened near our home. Unfortunately the doughnut that was served to my daughter seemed stale. When I spoke with the man working about my concern (an older bald man whom I assume was the owner). He was very rude and insisted that the doughnut was fine and I was just trying to get something for free. I'm sorry but have worked too hard as a single mother to be spoken down to like that over a doughnut.
