Stopped in here on a whim yesterday and I'm so glad we did. It was a Monday morning and we walked right up to the counter and placed an order. These donuts were amazing! The donut itself was light and fluffy, not greasy at all. They have so many options the possibilities are endless. I think it's a deal to customize your donuts for only $1.65 a piece! I loved the blueberry donut, I had mine with vanilla icing and coconut. My son has a vanilla donut with maple icing and bacon and a blueberry with Bavarian cream, white icing and sprinkles. They are nice sized donuts and they have a few tables inside and sell drinks in the cooler if you wanted to eat in. Cute local shop would definitely return and recommend. read more

These donuts are incredible. Similar concept to Duck Donuts but better quality and more options. You pick your cake, filling, icing and toppings and the donuts are made fresh in front of you. The staff works quickly and are happy to explain how it works. The donuts are served warm and there's a seating area for you to enjoy them there or take them home. this place was an absolute knockout. Simply put, divine. The best way to describe it is a slight step above Duck Donuts and 20 above Peace, Love and Little Donuts All donuts come out fresh and hot. Who doesn't love that. Not only were they fresh but all the bases were delicious. Chocolate, vanilla, blueberry and a pumpkin for the season. Then the amount of creations were awesome. The owners will help recommend a bunch of different creations too MAKE SURE to ask about other topping options because they had even more than the board said and pre custom made ones like Nutty Buddy, S'mores, PB&J, etc. We had so many different ones that I can't even go into detail because it'll be too long but when you go YOU MUST make a blueberry base, with lemon icing and crumb topping. Also absolutely get the PB&J, S'mores with pumpkin base and Nutty Buddy. Inside has little seating but not many people are grabbing donuts to eat in there I will be a frequent customer. read more

My wife and I have stopped by here on numerous Sunday mornings in the past two months. Valencia Donuts is located right on 228 and we were drawn into it by the donuts sign outside. We didn't know what we were getting ourselves into the first time that we entered the place but were excited to see that you could customize everything about the donut. You pick between vanilla, chocolate and blueberry donuts and they pull it out of something that is keeping it warm. Next you are given the option to get it filled with Bavarian creme or raspberry jelly. The filling machine injects it directly into the donut which is quite cool and there is no mess. Once that is done you can choose an icing with the choices being vanilla, lemon, chocolate, orange, glazed, maple or strawberry. Finally you get to top it off with cinnamon and sugar, nuts, coconut or any number of different combos of sprinkles. All of this can be done on single donuts, half dozens or dozens. Every time that my wife and I have been here the employees have been super pleasant with us. My favorite at this point in time is a blueberry donut filled with Bavarian creme and I have been rotating between fillings and toppings trying to find the perfect one! The bottom line for me is that I will stop by here again and again in the future. It's a nice little treat that tastes good and I love that you are able to customize it. These donuts were awesome! I went yesterday with my son, as we ordered some St Patrick's day donuts last week. It is a little bit of a drive for us, but we heard so many good things, I had to try this place! The two ladies working yesterday were so kind and thoughtful. They decorated our donuts with a lot of attention to the details, as I told them these were mostly for kids in my neighborhood. Made the 40 minute trip to Valencia Donuts based on the positive Yelp reviews. My family ordered a dozen donuts. The best way to describe these donuts is this - the concept is similar to Duck Donuts and Peace Love and Little Donuts. While PLLD has small donuts and Duck donuts has full-size donuts, these are right in the middle. There are a couple features that give Valencia an edge - first, they have more than just yellow cake donuts. They also offer chocolate and blueberry. Second, they give the option of infusing the donuts with cream or raspberry filling, in addition to the topping choices. Overall, we really enjoyed the donuts. We managed to snag a few chocolate ones right out of the fryer and they were delicious. One possible improvement is to have some "pre-selected" combinations. It was daunting to have to come up with combinations for 12 donuts. We had to write down notes so we could remember what everyone wanted! Maybe we overthought it a bit. I will definitely return. I give it 4 stars only because I like Duck Donuts a weee bit more. read more

Came here with some friends and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Each donut is made individually for you. There were 3 options of donuts, Bavarian cream or raspberry jelly filling, a variety of icings, and then a handful of toppings. The donuts were very fresh, and fairly small, but priced right to make it work. I had a blueberry donut, with Bavarian cream, and maple icing that was delicious. My other donut was vanilla, with raspberry jelly, and chocolate frosting. The donuts are delicious, small in size, but priced very reasonably. We had to wait a little since each donut is individually concocted, but it was not unreasonable. When we go to visit our friends again, I forsee this being another place we will return. read more

I actually had gone up this way to go to another donut place but it was closed when I arrived (due to the Covid pandemic, I presume), and so not to go home donut-less, I stopped in here.I was really quite surprised how good these were! I've been to Peace, Love, and Little Donuts, Duck Donuts, etc. This is the same style...choose your base flavor and any toppings. The one thing different though is that you could have a filling. Hmmm... I got: chocolate with chocolate glaze and chocolate sprinkles; blueberry with lemon glaze; blueberry with maple glaze, vanilla with chocolate glaze and sprinkles, vanilla with bavarian creme filling, chocolate glaze, and sprinkles, and vanilla with raspberry jelly filling and orange glaze. Not sure if something was up with the blueberry donut or the lemon glaze but it was very soap-like. Other than that, the chocolate donut was amazing. You could tell its real chocolate and it really comes through. The bavarian creme was delicious. And the raspberry filling with orange glaze is one of the best donuts I've ever had. And I've had ALOT of donuts. I will be going back. This places is now on my list. read more

These were good donuts and they get bonus points for having a unique shtick. I wouldn't have thought much of the donut if I had just gotten it in a box. But it was a fun experience to go in and pick the different components for a customized treat. My other half got decision-blindness when we walked in and he put everything in my hands. 1) Blueberry donut with bavarian cream stuffing, vanilla icing, and coconut 2) Vanilla donut with chocolate stuffing, strawberry icing, and walnuts The donuts are sort of a cross between a cake donut and a regular donut, kinda like a very soft chewy cake donut. The texture was unique. They were small, which was a plus in our book. The way they get stuffed is by poking icing into four holes (these are not cavernous jelly donuts). Then dipped in the icing and then the topping. So they are decorated to order but not made to order. I tried to make sure we had complementary flavor combinations going on, but it seemed a little tricky to figure it out. If I could repeat it, I would have skipped the stuffing, as it the combo of filling plus icing pushed it a big over the sweetness edge. There are a couple of tables to eat there and a cooler with milk. We took them to go and ate in a nearby park as we'd brought our own milk, not knowing they'd have some there. read more

So, I have to say I'm a little disappointed. After looking at reviews, I had high hopes that this would be a cheaper and maybe just-as-tasty alternative to PLLD. Here's my comparison... Valencia--warm donuts are a definite plus.........donuts are a little bigger PLLD--frostings, glazes, other toppings are far superior in quality, and certainly in variety Price: both are equally disturbing IMO. I paid $1.50 a piece regardless of toppings and fillings at Valencia, then drove to PLLD and paid $1.50 for on of their higher end varieties (I.e., if you want a simple frosted, it would be cheaper at PLLD bc they scale theirs based on toppings). Frankly, I know of places I can get a better donut than any of these, for half the price! Really the only thing I found at Valencia worth going back for was the raspberry filling. The lemon frosting was a bitter disappointment. read more

We got a half dozen and had the gentleman working pick the toppings as they were getting ready to close and I didn't want to spend my time gawking at the menu. The texture of the donuts are really different from anywhere else and I was a big fan of the blueberry with glaze. Everything else was so so. After selecting which donut you want you then choose what toppings you would like. Their sign along the road says that there are 336 different combinations of donuts you can make. Frankly, I'm pretty plain when it comes to donuts, so I go with a vanilla donut dipped in vanilla icing. My wife is a little more exciting, and goes for the blueberry donut and vanilla icing. However, there multiple flavors of icing, sprinkles, coconut shavings, and even cream filled options to choose from. They actually fill the donut with filling after you request it, so you know it hasn't been sitting there full of filling for who knows how long. If you go on a Saturday morning, which is when I frequent the shop, you will more than likely be getting donuts as they come off the conveyor belt. Today they were actually selling the donuts faster than they were being made. These donuts are not heavy and sugar laden like something you'd pull from the rack at the grocery store, nor are they mass produced like Krispy-Kreme, which always prided itself on having "fresh" donuts straight off the belt. Even those were a heavy, ultra-sweet donut. Valencia Donut donuts are different. Light, airy, fresh and hard to stop eating. You fill up before you ever get sick of them. Went to this little gem of a donut shop and that's what it was. I ordered a vanilla donut with vanilla icing topped with walnuts. My other was a chocolate with chocolate icing topped with coconut. The tastes we're phenomenal. Donuts were still warm and so very tender. My daughter got a chocolate with chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles. She agreed, great tasting donut. What makes this place special? All the donuts are freshly made to order. No pre made donuts to be found anywhere. We were greeted with the toppings and that's it.
