This place smelled wonderfully of pizza the minute we walked in. While there were lots of interesting things on their menu, we had to get pizza. It smelled so good! It was a good choice as we both ordered personal 8 inch specialty pizzas and they were delicious. Super loaded with toppings and I highly recommend them. Servers were all very friendly and the service where the live band was playing upstairs was great. It was so very clean that I feel I need to call out just how immaculate all the bathrooms and dining areas were. Bar crowd was pretty steady starting at 9 until the end of the night. Went there the other night for the first time. Very clean place and friendly staff. I had pizza it was very delicious my better half had a hamburger with ham and mushrooms with onions. The hamburger had no seasoning and the mushrooms we're canned. She could not finish it she said it was the worst burger she had ever had. I shared my pizza with her. Thank goodness the pizza was good, stay away from the burgers. read more

Very clean! Great, friendly, prompt service! The food is Delicious! I highly recommend Jorgie's pork tenderloin with a side of fried green beans! Whatever you do, however you can get there, take US 61 to DeWitt and ask for Jorgie's! Any local can direct you from there! read more

It's off the highway by about 5-10 minutes, but we're glad we stopped. Normal bar decor, but clean and comfortable feeling. Good service, and the chef/cook who brought our food out seemed pleased to be presenting us with his handiwork. And he was right to be pleased - we had the Knuckle Sandwich and a steak sandwich. Generous portions and very flavorful. The bartender told us they're best known for their pizza - maybe on our next trip through Iowa. The sandwiches, a soft drink and a draft microbrew came to $34 with tax/pre-gratuity. Definitely got what we paid for! read more

A wonderful family restaurant with amazingly service. They have the best pizza in town! If your not in the mood for pizza don't worry because there burgers are just as good. Very disappointed.. went for a friends birthday party upstairs and bathroom hasn't been cleaned in eons.. sandwiches were dry and skippy on the meat.. outside to smoke the heater was out of propane.. the party was scheduled weeks in advanc.. I expected better environment read more

Went here because of the 5 star ratings, just to have a vodka red bull... not so great this day. The young man working might have just started, he couldn't figure out our change and then I had to return my drink because it had a bunch of floaters in it (i'm not one to complain if I order something but it looked like food in my glass). I said just a bottle of beer then, and he said, I won't charge you- even though my husband had already paid for the vodka- he ended up giving me back $2. He was slow, another table had a soda and one beer .. they were looking at menus and ended up going to the bar to pay and didn't order because of service. There were about 7 people on the bar side. Heard a woman tell him he forgot to turn the pizza oven on and he just said "shit". I remember being young, but I am not any more and I want better service haha.. This is probably a wonderful place for regulars. Fun decor. I'm sure it's a great place I just had a bad experience in the 20 minutes I chose to waste there :) read more
