Don't skip Jo's Recently moved to the area and initially glazed over Jo's due to some negative reviews but decided to give them a chance. We've ordered the veggie pizza a few times now and it does not disappoint. Really like their parm bread nubs too. Service is quick and the inside is spotless. Friendly staff. Love their piggy stix. The pizza they have tastes different than any other chain. That's a good thing though. You can not go wrong with any menu item. Just know that the items are not cheap because they aren't cheaply made. The service is nice. They speak to you when you enter. Visiting the area and the kids wanted pizza. We always try new local eats, so this was the one. We ordered pasta (spaghetti), two salads, two personal pan pizzas, and an XL meats. The kids ate all the pasta and their pizzas, they loved it. The salads are basic, but enough to satisfy. The XL meats was very good! The only negatives were they charged 50 cents for extra dressing and the bathroom was not the cleanest. The trash was overflowing and the floor dirty. I would return and would recommend to anyone in the area. While we were there for maybe 45 minutes, eating in, I could count at least 10 to-go orders and several deliveries. Jo's pizza is our neighborhood pizza joint. The pizza is good, but it's not consistent. It's not a bad place to order if you just want a quick bite and don't want to go out of town to get food. With Dominos being in town now, Jo's pizza should focus on being consistent with their pizza and they should be fine. read more

This place is intimate and even though it has the bare necessities it remains in fashion and on theme. So a southerner cooks pizza! It's seasoned just like your mom would. I was underwhelmed with the marinara sauce. Otherwise, it's everything I expected and more. The cheese sticks are amazing. All in all the dough is great. The portions are generous. The prices are about the price of a franchise but it's a small business so its slightly higher which is amazing. The portions are generous everything is fresh and the staff is pleasant and speedy. One star only because I can't click on ZERO STARS. Placed my order along with spouse and her son/daughter-in-law. Young man at the register took my order and then promptly failed to pass it along to the kitchen. Everyone sits down to eat, everyone else gets their pizza while I sit there eternally waiting for my calzone which never comes. I'm a new resident to the area, having bought a large upscale home neat town. But like I promised to the staff on duty at the time: I will NEVER return. Never. I had the lunch buffet. The pizza and salad bar were good. The lettuce was really fresh--no brown or wilted spots. What really impressed me was the young guy running the register. He was super friendly and told me they'd make any pizza combination I wanted. He seemed genuinely happy to wait on me. They made me pepperoni and onion. He flagged me when it came out.
