On my very first visit I had informed Dr. Neela (fantastic dentist) about my dental preferences and she respected my wishes. But the last time I was there (after Doctor Cacchio retired), she was suggesting the very services which I had informed her I would never be interested in. I feel this was due to the fact that this dental practice was bought by "Brilliant Smiles" and they were trying to recoup their money. They also charged me for my first visit with the new owners and I paid the fee. I then found out my insurance covered it and it took me FOUR MONTHS to get my money back.

Brilliant Smiles is a crooked dental group. Do not buy their products that the insurance do not pay either. Do not buy into the selling tips coming from their charlatan dentists that recommend orthodontist services. How come these tips were never made by Cacchio in the past? Don't listen to customer service lying to your face your appointment is tomorrow while the card given by them says "today". To avoid it all, dump them.

The office is very clean and the staff are very friendly. It feels like walking into your own home. They fitted him in on the same day and was able to pull it out. I found Premier Dental in my neighborhood and thought I would give it a try. First step was evaluation and teeth cleaning. There, I was introduced to ALEXIS the dental hygienist. SHE WAS FABULOUS! She calmed my nerves with a vibrating dental chair and her caring personality. She explained every step she took and was very gentle. The numbing gel worked wonderful. The initial cleaning was thorough and no pain. I had to go back for deep cleaning for a few teeth but I had no worries. I did not feel the needle and had no pain during the procedures. The lady at the front desk was extremely pleasant and wonderful in helping me have all of my X-rays and paperwork transferred over from my previous dentist. During my consultation, Dr Rooney knew I was strapped for time, so she actually did the cleaning herself to save me the visit. She was very nice to talk to as well. Let's put it this way, even when I didn't have dental insurance, I still went to Dr. Feinberg because: 1. He's no nonsense and leads with minimum necessary interventions (no upsells or scare tactics about teeth) 2. He's detailed, informative, and again no nonsense with what I need to do to take care of my teeth 3. When I found myself needing a mouthguard for my night time teeth grinding, he suggested I try some good affordable OTC products first before considering a much more expensive custom guard 4. The staff are responsive and on top of their game with calling back for urgent issues and the like I don't exactly live close to his office, but I continue to go because they're the best. I'd say the only caveat is that they're closed on Friday and Sunday and aren't emergency dentists. Can't really be mad at them for that though.

I wasn't called back until 1:03 PM, effectively making me the last person in the entire waiting room for a routine cleaning that only took 25 minutes. What made the experience truly "1-star" wasn't just the delay, but the complete lack of basic courtesy from the staff. When I asked the front desk for a time estimate during my wait, I was dismissively told "you're next" without any apology or context. Even when the hygienist finally called my name, there was no acknowledgment of the fact that they were running an hour behind. The worst part was during checkout. When I asked the assistant if an hour-long wait was normal for this office, she completely ignored my question and just continued asking if a noon slot worked for my next visit. When I requested an earlier time specifically to avoid another massive delay, she condescendingly asked, "Are you sure you can come in that early?" It is incredibly frustrating to have your time disrespected and then be met with an attitude when you point it out.
