This is the worst dental clinic I've been to! They are incompetent and their work is very sloppy. I had a crown done on one of my molars last December and they didn't do it right by having the crown mold wrong and the gap between my teeth too large so they had to redo it a couple times. Every time I go there (six times now) it's like I'm being tortured as the dentist's hands are shaking while performing procedures (like, are you kidding me? he has some kind of neuropathy and shouldn't be practicing with his condition! the only reason I came back here was because my insurance doesn't cover getting another crown from another provider). This cost me a lot of pain and stress since January as the food goes straight to my gums between my teeth as there's nothing to block it whenever I'm chewing. The worst part is that he never tells you what he's going to do even when you ask questions, he doesn't give you any warning just starts drilling. Communication is important between practitioner and patient to make sure they know what to expect and to answer any questions to give them peace of mind. Today was my last visit and again I was in pain this time from him drilling part of my gums, when I groaned in pain and asked "why do my gums hurt, are they bleeding?" Both the assistant and the dentist said NO, but I saw and tasted my blood. When I pointed that out they said "oh that's normal"! he also filed down the tooth next to the one he was working on which had nothing to do with it and he didn't tell me why he did that. Another lady was there getting her teeth done next to me and I heard her groaning and screaming in pain the whole time and the dentist did not do anything to comfort her, it was absolutely terrible! I wanted to write this review the first time I went there but I try my best to be tolerant and not deal with the hassle but I think I'm going to sue for malpractice. read more

I have been going to this dentist for the past 2 years plus. The first experience was bad, but I kept thinking it was going to get better. I was so wrong. Today I did it for me. 6 months ago, I had a root canal and a crown. The root canal went bad and Dr. Baptist denied doing it. The procedure took FOREVER as his hand shook as he was doing it. I guess you can say that he is old. The procedure was not pleasant but I was told "you will get used to it" fast forward. Now my teeth are sensitive to everything I put in my mouth, including water. If I could I wouldn't give this guy any stars. This was the most traumatic dental experience ever and all I went in for was a cleaning. His staff was rude and did nothing to make me feel comfortable. The girl who was going to clean my teeth never even introduced herself. All she did was try and sell me very expensive tooth x-rays (one of which I was foolish enough to get) and tell me my teeth looked awful and I needed "a whole lot of fillings". I told her I used a SonicCare and I didn't think it was possible they could be that bad. She did't care "what kind of crazy gadget you are using, you need some fillings". Keep in mind she had't even cleaned my freaking teeth yet. So I got this crazy 360 degree super scan of my head and teeth, which was $200 (that's just the co-pay) and then no one could even pull it up on a monitor for me to look at. I had to walk up to the front desk and demand that someone figure out how to burn it onto a disk or print it because I want to be able to see the picture I just paid so much for one way or another. After that I was ushered back to my chair where the name-less hygienist told me that I should just skip the cleaning and make an appointment for some fillings. I told her to clean my damn teeth I needed to get back to work. She did and I left. (Worst cleaning ever I might add) 2 weeks later I went back to my normal dentist (which I had stopped going to for insurance reasons) got the best cleaning of my life and found out I had NO CAVITIES. I don't care how much it costs I will pay whatever it takes to keep going to my regular dentist. But you could not pay me to stay foot in this office again. I don't know where some of the other reviewers went, but it can't be the same one I did. I had such an amazing experience! I know thats weird to say about the dentist... lol But i went in a few days ago for the first time and was SOOOO NERVOUS!! I knew I had to get an implant and anytime metal objects have to go anywhere near my mouth, i get heart palpitations! Haha But the staff was so friendly and reassuring, i felt way more comfortable than Ive EVER felt at any dentist! I am a new patient and the customer service was outstanding. The people at the front desk were very polite. I got an x-ray done and it went quite smoothly. The hygienist did an excellent job making me feel relaxed and taken care while cleaning my teeth, even going as far to apply vaseline to my lips to prevent them from cracking. In the past, I would have a lot of pain after a routine cleaning, but I walked away pain free and with cleaner feeling teeth. I look forward to future appointments here. read more

I had two appointments to have my crown put on with no problem. The major issue I have and am still shaken up from witnessing this is on my second visit I noticed blood on one of their instruments. I informed the technicians and she only wiped it off and told me that they change the top piece of the metal drill that the blood was on. I don't care all pieces of the instrument should be sterilized and cleaned after each patient. After this incident I was terrified because they had worked on my teeth the week before and they had to place my crown on that visit. I will definitely not return and recommend that this establishment takes bodily fluids and safety cleaning procedures seriously. I was totally scared after seeing this on my last visit here. Took me back after the usual ten minute wait, put a bib on me, sat me in one of their exam chairs, then nothing. 45 minutes went by, so i got up and left. no one seemed surprised to see an infuriated person walk out of the back without having been seen or provided any services. must be a common occurrence. read more

I wanted a new dentist close to my home. I needed a crown for a recent implant and maintenance services. These folks were great. Their office is very nice and modern and pleasant. The staff is friendly and professional. My favorite is Farah. Dr. Baptiste is efficient, talented, friendly and thorough. And very important for me, their appointment times meran something. I agree with the above reviewers wholeheartedly. I selected this dental practice for its proximity to my apartment and I definitely regretted it. Each time I went (I think three times), I saw someone different. The teeth cleanings were very unpleasant and one of the dentists told me that I had numerous cavities (despite a subsequent visit to a dentist at a different practice who said my teeth were fine). Thank goodness I had the sense to ignore her warnings. I also seem to remember considerable language barrier issues. Please do yourself a favor and not go here. read more

After filling my paperwork out, I was called into the back to take x-rays. The dental hygienist was polite and personable while I waited to see Dr. Baptiste. The receptionist is rude. She does not smile. She makes non sense assumption. I went there to take of a cavity. At the end of fill in the cavity, he ask me it was bumpy. I said yes. I wish I had read your reviews before, or I would have never gotten an appointment there. I have never been to such a filthy facility before in my life. The bathrooms: You cannot flush the toilet paper, and the waste bin has no cover leaving patrons' fecal matter into the open air. There are no seat covers, and the toilet seat was covered in urine. The reception area was strewn with garbage. After my 30 minute wait, and having to ask when I would see the doctor, I finally went into the treatment room, only to wait again for x-rays. While I was waiting I was horrified to see ANTS crawling on the countertops and walls. When my x-rays were complete, I asked again when I'd actually see the dentist and they said it would be another 15 minutes. By then I had it since I was tired of looking at the dentist's employees on MYSPACE AND FACEBOOK. I then had to wait ANOTHER 15 MINUTES to meet with the office manager. I listed my complaints, including the facts that I had to wait six weeks to book an appointment, and no one informing me of the delay (a simple phone call would suffice). The manager's response was, "I cleaned the urine off the seat, and sometimes backlog comes up." Well after arriving fifteen minutes early for my appointment, and then another hour before I could speak to management, I simply walked out of there disgusted. Oh yes, and I NEVER SAW DR. So I made an appointment a couple of weeks ago for this location because I had recently changed my insurance and my insurance had picked this office as my go to dental office. I showed up today in the morning, booking my day off of work and everything. I called the receptionist because it was a confusing location in a midsts of a bunch of other businesses. The receptionist informs me that the dentist won't be in the office until the afternoon. My appointment was for 11am. She informs me that she called me YESTERDAY. Talk about last minute. I go to the office for an emergency to see what's wrong with my tooth and they have the nerve to tell me that I have to get a bunch of fillings and three root canals. The only person who welcomes you is the guy who is at the desk. I waited at least an hour to go to the back and see what was wrong with my tooth. The only pain meds they give you is Motrin or Tylenol 3. I go back for one of the root canals and the people who attended me just ask what I was there for. They are so unprepared. They later told me that in order for my root canal to be finished they have to take one of my wisdom teeth out. I told my mom that once they were done with my root canal and taking out one of my wisdom teeth I was NEVER going back there EVER again. So be wise in choosing a dentist as long as you don't go there. read more
