I was an out-of-state buyer, looking for a second home in the San Gabriel Valley. My plan was to drive to LA each time a promising listing appeared on Zillow. I needed an agent who was patient, flexible, understood that I wasn't going to settle for just any house that didn't match my needs, and let me primarily drive the search, while also sending me listings that fit. They let me drive the search and only contacted me when a listing came up that matched my criteria. Often, they contacted me about one I was already interested in, having seen it appear that day on Zillow. This shows that they really listened to me. They never tried to show me houses that didn't fit, just to rush the process.
