If I could give zero stars, I would. The "doctor" wouldn't listen to my girlfriend's symptoms at all. We don't even know her name. I don't even know if she's a doctor. She prescribed shingles medicine when clearly it was just an allergic reaction. Save your time and find a legit doctor. I'm sure Joseph Park was a great doctor. So sad he passed. If you're feeling sick and you it's too difficult to make an appointment with your PCP, there's no need for the ER or even urgent care...just go see Dr. Park. Dr. Park can help you mild/moderate illnesses and any medical issues that aren't too complicated. It's like a quicker version of urgent care. There's no need for an appointment...you'll be in and out in a jiffy. I'm not sure if they take insurance, and I've never even bothered asking because it's only $60 for the visit. read more

I used to love this place when Dr. Park was here, so I decided to keep going. Big mistake. I had dyshidrotic eczema on all ten fingers, but she told it was herpes and was take five pills a day. The meds did absolutely nothing -- except make my skin worse. When I asked about it again, I didn't exactly get a helpful response. And she said to me go OTHER HOSPITAL lol Then I went to another clinic... surprise: it wasn't herpes at all. It was dyshidrotic eczema, and the right meds cleared everything up in literally 1-2 days. I'm honestly shocked that two completely different diagnoses came out of the same symptoms. I don't recommend here. If you have time go OTHER HOSPITAL. read more

Horrible bedside manner, really disrespectful doctor. I walked in to get treatment for my throat infection, and was ushered into his room. I told him about my throat, he asked a couple of questions, and told me he was going to give me a shot and a prescription for antibiotics. That was when he completely flipped on me. I have never gotten a shot for a throat infection, so I asked him what the shot was, hoping to be more informed about it. I also asked him about the antibiotic prescription, which was when he got angry. He said, "If you are going to ask me questions about this, then I don't want to give it to you." He then opened the door and made me leave without a prescription. I do not see anything wrong with asking questions and being informed about a treatment. Dr. Joseph H. Park located in the heart of Ktown on the first floor of a small building. I have been going to Dr. Park since my teenage years and now married with 2 kids have gone for so many emergency situations where other big hospitals like Kaiser would give you the run around and keep you from coming to the office. Dr. Park passions , attentiveness, and care toward each individual person shows through the amount of people line up early morning when you get there and people are waiting for him. His immediate action to where the source of pain is and how he approaches it's so relieving. I wish more doctors followed his approach. The only unfortunate part is no insurance is taken besides Medicare. So be ready to bring cash or card to get yourself checked up and fixed. Please remember his goal is not money his goal is fast efficiency care and low cost to the patient. So when you go in don't worry because your out of cost is less than expected. read more

I will rate zero if it is possible. I caught a cold and it didn't get better for about two weeks. The doctor asked me briefly what's the problem, I said I caught a cold and had been coughing but Covid test negative for multiple times. He then quickly use a touch to check my throat, like 2 second and then was going to give me a shot very quickly without even explaining to me or asking my permission. I just asked what's the shot about? He said a very long name starts with "Dex" and said even Trump used it, so he's giving me the same medicine the president uses. I only got the chance to search it afterwards and the shot was dexamethasone, it contains steroids. He then gave me some medicine and asked me to take two times a day, again, without explaining what the medicine was and there was no dose, no name no description even no info of the doctor or office contact info on the bags of the medication. I assume they don't want to take any responsibility in case anything happens. I was surprised how would a doctor gave shot and medication to patient without notifying them. Especially steroid, it will weaken the immune system and it is actually not necessary for cold without any serious symptoms. I didn't get any better after the steroids shot, and I didn't dare to take the medication after I found out he gave me steroids shots. It took me another 1 week to recover and I ended up with post nasal drip that would not go away for months. Not sure if that's the side effect of cold or steroids. Also whenever you ask questions to this doctor, he was so annoyed and impatient to answer, his tone was even angry made you feel like you should not have asked any questions. I will never ever come here for any reason in the future. read more

I was searching for affordable doctors that can treat a common cold in a jiffy and this is one of those doctors. If you're looking for an actual hospital, doctor's visit, this is not the one you're looking for. If you're looking for a quick, affordable, and clean way of getting better, this is the way. The front desk and doctor are Korean, but I believe he understands and speaks English. He doesn't talk much besides asking "What is troubling you?" "I'm going to give you a shot" "Here are your meds, take this and this etc". I like how quick and easy it was, and it was only $50!!! This is definitely my go to spot when I'm sick now. He took the time in making that all the oaper work was in order and signed. He's very nice and professional. Even the secretaries at the front are nice. This is my go to place when I visited in LA. I always went to this place every time I visited in LA. The doctor was very kindly before but I really disappointed with him this time. I wasn't sure maybe he felt no good when I went to but honestly I could feel it he was kind of not nice than before. I had a asked him to my condition but he seems like got a bit annoyed that answer and I got felt like he just in hurry which's he never been that with me in the past. This is my go-to doctor when I don't have time to wait for my PCP. I hate waiting in the doctor's office for 2 hrs just to see him. I come here when they open and wait 30 mins for the doctor to get in and I'm out. He gives me a shot when needed and prescribes antibiotics. It takes 10 mins for each patient. The doctor is extremely professional and doesn't try to dismiss you even though it's a quick appointment. FYI, they do not accept insurance here so might be good for those days that are difficult to get an appointment at the PCP or urgent care! read more

I'm still amazed that a service like this exists where you can literally get up and drive to his office and walk in and see him without appointment with minimal waiting time. Honestly, you walk in, sign your name - if you're a first time patient you fill out the paperwork, if you're a returning patient you simply wait in the waiting room until Dr. Park is ready for you. I've had to come here twice this year: the first time due to a bad case of tonsilitis and this past Friday because of what I assumed to be seasonal bronchitis. Mind you I may be Korean, and I'm awfully intimidated to speak Korean to ANYONE in KTown as I do not consider myself that great of a speaker, but not to worry! Their staff is biligual in English and definitely make you feel comfortable. For a doctor who doesn't require you to have insurance, it's $50 all around for the appointment, immunity booster shot, and prescription he writes you. He was even kind enough to write me a note for work as well as giving me some medications he has as he recommended those first before going to get the prescriptions he wrote out for me. I came to see this doctor with my former prescription because I knew what I had and instead he gave me without asking a shot of something (i still don't know what was it!) that made me passed out 2 minutes later (at least he took care of me when it happened). My go-to Dr. for numerous reasons. 1. Despite the abundant amount of patients waiting, you get to see him in 15 minutes or less 2. Will listen to your symptoms without interrupting you, answer all questions with a patient demeanor and will never rush you in any way. 3. Will provide diagnosis of said issue and provide prescription, plus give you samples 4. Worst case scenario - will give you a shot (which..guess what.. WORKS!) Very soft spoken but thorough when it comes to providing care. I went in a couple times for petty things such as a cold/flu to major things as chest pains. All in all he'll see you, listen to you, provide a diagnosis and suggest a certain regimen as well. I have HMO which he does not accept. I believe he does not accept Medical/medicare/ LA CARE (I could be wrong). The reason I even bring this up is cause despite having HMO insurance from my employer I choose to pay out of pocket money to see him cause he get things done without the BS that most doctors feed you. My husband and I needed his medical examination for his green card, and Dr. Park is a civil surgeon and successful and efficiently completed it for us in about 2-3 days! You don't have to be Korean to feel comfortable here, I am American and my husband is Mexican, and we loved Dr. Park! He speaks perfect English and is very very nice and smart and I saw him double and triple checking the info on the documents to make sure it was all complete and accurate.
