Before agreeing to the procedure, she asked this office multiple times whether they performed that specific test. She was assured they did. On May 7, they removed two skin biopsy samples from her body and told her the results would take approximately two weeks. Two weeks came and went with no phone call. She then followed up herself. She called seven separate times, and every single time she was told the same thing: "We'll contact the lab." No answers. No explanation. No accountability. On June 15, after weeks of getting nowhere, she and her husband drove directly to the dermatology laboratory themselves trying to find out what had happened. Even then, no one could explain why there were still no results. Finally, after her eighth follow-up, she was able to speak with the physician. She was then told something unbelievable. The doctor claimed the office notes stated that she had been informed over the phone that this practice does not perform the specific test she requested. That is simply false. She was never told that before the biopsies were taken. In fact, she specifically asked at least twice before allowing pieces of skin to be removed from her body and was repeatedly told they did perform this testing. Had she been told otherwise, she never would have consented to the procedure. So after: Multiple confirmations that they performed the test. An invasive procedure involving two skin biopsies. Eight follow-up contacts. More than a month of waiting. Countless hours of frustration while searching for answers to a disabling condition... ...the final answer was essentially: "We don't perform that test." To make matters even worse, the medical record now allegedly contains documentation stating she had been informed otherwise--a statement that directly contradicts what actually occurred. This entire experience demonstrates a shocking level of incompetence, poor communication, and complete lack of accountability. A patient trusted this office, underwent an invasive procedure, repeatedly sought answers, and was strung along for weeks--only to discover the requested test was never even performed. This failure delayed her diagnosis, wasted valuable time, subjected her to an unnecessary invasive procedure, and caused needless physical and emotional distress during an already difficult medical journey. Patients deserve honesty, competence, and accurate documentation--not misinformation, endless excuses, and weeks of wasted time. We will be filing formal complaints with the appropriate regulatory agencies so this does not happen to another patient. The only reason why this pathetic clinic even received two stars from me is that it's harder to get rid of a two-star review than a one-star review. And frankly, this Mickey Mouse clinic doesn't even deserve a one star rating.

The nurse that works with Dr. Tamesis is absolutely wonderful!! I had her on my last visits. She is fun and comforting. Dr. Tamesis explains why she feels something is necessary and will ask how you feel about it. With my mom's brother and my sister passing away from melanoma, I will do whatever they think is best. Received another bill a month later for a different amount but less than 10 dollars that magically appeared on the bill. They said my insurance did not cover completely one visit and I had to pay. This place jerks you around and is a rip off. Stay away from this place unless you want to get magical charges on your bill that you have to pay or it will go to collections.

My entire body was completely covered with a consuming rash. My skin was oozing with pus and blood, my eyes were swollen shut, my mouth was covered with sores, my ears were oozing yellow matter. It was painful, burning, itchy let alone unsightful. These specialists turned my life around on my very first visit. They knew immediately what to do and took charge. I am currently still being treated and monitored. So far I'm very happy with the results from these doctors and I highly recommend them. Their office is clean and the waiting time is very short. The quantity of the cream that I was prescribed was far too small to cover the affected areas of my body. I kept being told that "insurance won't let me prescribe you a larger one" and instead gave me another prescription to use when the first one ran out. I was told to pay more for another prescription instead of her writing that i need a larger quantity? makes no sense to me? Additionally, I had missed one appointment that I booked due to a medical situation. On the day of my next appointment I had moved it for later in the day because of another complication with my TBI, when it did not resolve I had canceled the second appointment. I had done all of this through zocdoc, the service they use for bookings. Apparently these two were also counted as no shows and they claim to not have any of them saved in their system as cancelations. Three hours before my appointment, when I had already found coverage for my job I was told I was "banned" from booking more appointments at this office and had mine cancelled for the day. I got a call back from Sarah who showed absolutely no sympathy for my situation and insisted I go to their other locations for appointments. While I understand that my one no show negatively impacted their business, that was out of my control, however the other two were cancelations and not my personal error. I also do not understand why I was barred from making appointments when i already had one?? I am a college student just trying to get by during finals week so this adds even more stress to my plate. Informing me that my appointment is canceled three hours before is completely unacceptable. I will no longer give this office or the schweiger dermatology group any of my business and I hope at least one other person who reads this does the same. (also fighting with one star reviews on google is actually insane and I have never seen that from medical "professionals..." these five star reviews have gotta be fake)
