Dr Schwartz and his staff of wonderful PAs have kept me cancer free for 20 plus years. I had a malignant melanoma removed last summer. when I went back for my semiannual skin check, the scar was so invisible the PA had to really look for it! The office staff are always friendly, although it is so cold in their space that they all have sweatshirts or blankets on! And yet they are still smiling! It takes a while to get into the practice as a new patient, but I promise it's worth the wait!!! read more

I was a patient here, and not having gone in a while, I called on 10-23-24 to make an appointment. I was immediately told that if I hadn't been to the office in the last 3 years, I was considered a new patient and they weren't taking new patients right now and I would have to call back in January. I asked the receptionist if she could check. She confirmed that I hadn't been there in 4 years and basically hung up on me. I immediately called another dermatology office, and was treated kindly, professionally, and quickly received an appointment on November 4th. I would not recommend this office to anyone. They're rude and very unprofessional. read more

I cannot express how happy I am with my office. I have had problems with psoriasis for over a decade now. I've been in and out of so many dermatologists, tried so many different things, and nothing seems to ever work. I went to see Jordan, the PA, a couple of months ago. I was pessimistic going into my appointment since I've had so many different medical professionals try so many different things over the years. Upon an initial exam, she prescribed me two different medicines. Two months later, I am seeing great results. For the first time in over a decade I can see my condition improving thanks to this office. Everyone (both the front office and my provider) have always been very friendly to me and I am able to get appointments when I need them. The appointment availability was also one of the reasons why I came to this office in the first place. Other dermatologists were taking new patients six months to a year in advance, while this practice only had a six week or so waiting time for new patients. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a new dermatologist. read more

I've been going to this office for 8ish years now for my annual skin check (My mom died of melanoma so I go religiously). I had Basel cell removed (moes surgery at a provider they referred me to). I almost left this practice before this instance because I felt even with my history I had to push them to get things checked. That said I am so thankful I stayed, Jordan (who was not at the practice before) is absolutely amazing. This is my second (or 3rd?) yearly with her and she is always so thorough and helpful with everything. She goes above and beyond and she is so kind and professional. My phone call said I had an appointment at what is 1:15pm, turns out the appointment was at 9:15 had literally no idea and showed up at 1:15. Idk if the overweight poorly dressed woman with curly hair is the office manager or what but she came over with such attitude and a nasty look on her face I couldn't even believe it. I then told her don't speak to me like that and she changed her whole tone but said I was the one with attitude, they then said I couldn't reschedule my appointment because I had previous no shows, these were in 2010 and 2012. HA! I was 12 in 2010.....Jordan Roberts is so sweet and nice but this office has always been off and their wait times are outrageous anyways. I'll just find another dermatologist. I should value a doctors time who doesn't value mine? Good doctors don't make patients wait well past their apt times then freak out when you get an appointment time wrong after nearly 10 years! read more

I wish zero stars was a thing. Horrible treatment and customer service from multiple staff members behind the desk. They spoke to me and treated me with disrespect and attitude. Avoid this hack like Covid . This so called Dr is awful. They overbook leaving you waiting for an hour+ They can get you in to the office fairly soon , but it is with a NP who is rude pitifully ignorant & sadly uninformed in basic dermatology , as to why I switched to the Dr on next visit. Schwartz is as pleasant as a wisdom tooth extraction & not very knowledgeable. I found this out when I switched physicians . It is well worth the wait to get a good dermatologist. This hack would not even do insurance prior auths for prescription topicals. My current Dr does . Good riddance to this jerk Schwartz read more

I really like the P.A.s that have been treating me. I missed an appointment and I got a lot of flak from the administrative staff when I called to reschedule. They had to get the OK from the PA to reschedule, never called back, so I called again and had an argument and lecture from the administrative staff who were rude. I hung up and will go to a different dermatologist from now on. read more

Rudest front office staff. Every time my son and I arrived for his appointment, we waited for them to finish discussing their personal issues before they even acknowledged we were there. Once, they accused us of not having an appointment (I had the card to prove it). The doctor was rude and arrogant as well. Avoid this place. read more

The appointment was at 11 and you don't get into the exam room until 1, then you wait for the doctor to come in and you can hear everyone laughing and talking in the common area. Dr. comes in and misdiagnoses a skin issue as nerve damage pain from a back injury (I never had a back injury, I asked what he was talking about?) given a script for gabapentin. Doctor doesn't look you in the eye, doesn't take more than 3 minutes with you, only seems to care about churning out patients so he can collect his money. The rash I suffered 3 years with? I did all the leg work and found out the problem and fixed it myself. Doctors nowadays are good for writing a prescription only. read more

After all reviews I read on GOOGL, I wasn't sure if I like this place, but I had no choice with my insurance, so I went . I had 3 different dermatologists before I came to this place and non of them could solve my problem. So..here I am at office, thinking that this place will not help me either, but I was wrong. My best friend went here because she developed Stevens-Johnson Syndrome from taking mood stabilizer Lamictal. The doctor told her that it wasn't real and that she was just creating it herself by picking her skin and arms (which I've never seen her do ever, nor have this happen before this medication). Meanwhile, my friend has been in severe pain because of these disfiguring skin sores. Verbatim from a text she sent me: "His staff were super rude and unprofessional too I could literally hear them talking about me in the hallway outside my room that I was gross and shit." I've been going to this doctor for approx. 10 years. I usually see the NP. Haven't had any issues; just check ups. Within the last 6 months I've had issues that have made me extremely unhappy. Six months ago, I had 2 moles removed. Enough wasn't removed and the lab asked me to return. They charged me for another OV & co-pay even though it was their fault I had to return. This last time, I specifically asked for a small sore to be removed (not just biopsied) so that I didn't have to return. They did not do what I asked, the sore came back positive, and now I have to take time from work, pay another copay, have more needles in my side, and a bigger sore. I was very angry when I received the call that I had to return. I am not happy with the way this office operates and I am going to another derm. read more

The providers here are wonderful! The doctor himself I have only seen once, but the 2 ladies in the office are fabulous as well! If you need a dermatologist and live anywhere from Albany to Vermont I would highly recommend this practice!
