I just had a filling performed at Josh Brothers Dental. It was the fastest, least painful dental experience I have ever had.

But my situation really…read moreimproved when I was seen and tended to by Apex and Dr Ryan Jack and his professional crew. The process of "pre-numbing" the area where the needles were to be placed, surprised me. Within a few minutes, I was ready for the heavy duty anesthetic...never felt the needles. As assessed by Dr Jack, this tooth was weird and the probability for success was not great, but I gave the "go ahead" anyway. The result was amazing. Even when the anesthetic wore off there was no pain. That night sleeping...no pain. The next morning...no pain! What a surprise! What a relief! Thank you!!!! Rich P

I received excellent treatment from Rochelle, the dental assistant, and the awesome treatment for my root canal from Dr. Sarah Crepps. I have had root canals in the past and this was the best procedure I have received. Dr. Crepps explained every step and was very knowledgeable, gentle, professional and efficient! Dr. Crepps was able to do the root canal without damaging my crown and this was very important because the root canal was on one of my front teeth. Dr. Crepps called me the next morning to see how I was doing (missed the call because I was still asleep). I called them back a few hours later to let them know I was feeling great with no discomfort at all. Top-notch service from start to finish!

This ain't my first rodeo and this time it's another $62.20. That's a total of $91.80 out of pocket for a couple drops of cement plus the $50.20 the insurance paid. I could have purchased "dental crown cement" on Amazon and done it myself for under $20. They took an x-ray for a charge of $39, why? It was as obvious as the nose on my face what was needed. Did you need an x-ray to see my nose? Then the charge of $99 for the "oral exam" to look inside my mouth and see the crown I brought in was missing? Perhaps that was for the probe the dentist poked into my tooth 3 or 4 times to see if it was still there and "not decayed"? Guess what, it was still there and not decayed! Last, and most costly, was the $148 charge for those 3-4 drops of cement. SERIOUSLY???? and then the invoice has the gall to state "Writeoff: $144.00" to zero out the original total charge of $286.00. Really, $286 bucks for 15 minutes in the chair, a needless x-ray, 30 seconds to probe the tooth "for decay" and a few drops of cement? NO, I do not recommend Twin Rivers, unless you like feeling misled and ripped off and enjoy paying unexpected additional invoices! I did give them a 1 of 5 rating rather than a zero, simply because the were able to schedule me in that day. But the additional, unexpected expense negated any other possitive in the experience.

On my first appointment I walked in the door exactly 10 minutes late and was fully aware of that and ready to happily rebook. I walked in to the two receptionists on there cellphones facing away from the front and overhear the one who isn't even tending the front say "15 minutes late" in a condescending tone clearly not meant for me to hear followed by and eye roll. They break up their conversation and turn back to their computers. No hello, welcome, or goodmorning just "Are you ____?" I understand it's early so I brush that off and tell her I know im late can they still take me? I end up just saying I'll call and rebook because I don't have my calendar. On my way out in a normal tone I told them they should be a little more friendly working as receptionists. I have my fiance call back today and they tell him I was marked a no show and cannot rebook. I have asked to speak with a supervisor twice and been told I will receive a call back, never have. I have expressed that this is not my fault I was not a no show I was in office and left being told to call and rebook. It seems like the front desk girls decided they were going to mark me as a no show on purpose to avoid me becoming a patient or contacting their supervisor. Incredibly unprofessional and my dentist already said after the first incident he won't be referring here but maybe this will bring this situation to the attention of someone who can address them.
