From my first encounter with his staff, patient co-ordinator and assistant I felt assured and confident. I am from Canada so I had a phone consultation with Dr. Olson, he spent an hour answering my questions honestly and gave me some very important information about the procedure and implant profiles. The surgeon I consulted with in Canada failed to mention these details so I was extremely thankful for the knowledge Dr. Olson had. The booking process was seamless, the pre-operative/post-operative package was inclusive and thorough. The staff was attentive and warm. I never felt awkward or self conscious like I did with my first consult in Canada. I initially phoned to query about surgery mid February. We had a trip planned to Phoenix for March 3-11 so my goal was to have surgery in that time frame, which Dr. Olson was able to accommodate. I was seen at Dr. Olson's office for pre-op March 6th and had surgery March 7th at Gilbert Surgery Centre. From start to finish, the communication and care has been exemplary. I am SO glad that I chose to explore out of country options for breast augmentation. My first consult back home left me with uncertainty and even dread, but I felt I had no options as the pickings are slim for cosmetic surgery here. I went into surgery with joy and excitement and came out with beautiful breasts! I had some major concerns about breast augmentation affecting my weightlifting, as I am a competitive weightlifter. Dr. Olson took the time to listen and consider my concerns and was able to place my implants over the muscle (subglandular) which my previously consulted surgeon refused to do. I am on post op Day 7 and I feel great. I was prescribed excellent pain management medications which I used for the first 4 days and haven't needed them since. I have swelling, to be expected, but nearly zero bruising. His technique is impeccable and my incisions are tiny, maybe 2cm. He took the time to personally phone me the evening of surgery to check on me, which I appreciated. I never hated my breasts before but for the first time in my life I feel feminine. Above and beyond expectations! Let me start by explaining my history and the procedures that were completed. My history: I had breast augmentation and a tummy tuck at a previous surgeon in Phoenix on November 20, 2013. Although the surgery at the time seemed to have given me the results I was looking for, they quickly diminished within an 18 month period following the surgery. My tummy tuck scar wrapped around my sides and left a less then desirable appearance on my flanks and back. The scar was jagged and appeared "puffy" in the bikini area. My left breast felt hard and looked different from my right breast. I was less then happy and was desperately seeking a surgeon I could trust to repair the improper procedures that were not only costly but required time off from work and everything that went with surgery including the post op and pain. I was going to be extremely cautious of the next surgeon I chose. I had my first consultation with Dr. Olson in May 2015. From the first time I meet him he made me feel comfortable and cared for. He took the time needed to build trust and reassured me that he could repair my areas of concern. He was professional, yet personal. He made me feel as though my needs were important and his priority. My procedures completed: Brazilian butt lift with side plank lipo suction, mini tummy tuck with scar revision, left breast muscle correction with a new lift on both breasts including new implants. From the moment Dr. Olson talked to me in pre-op to my very last follow up post op check in his office I felt assured that I had made a great decision on my surgeon. I am about 3 weeks post-op from a breast augmentation with Dr. Olsen. I have been looking into getting one for years and have visited a few different doctors. After my consultation with him I finally decided to go ahead and do it. He was very informative, he wasn't worried about "pitching" me, what I should and shouldn't do, he started off informing me about the procedure and answered all my questions. He made me feel very comfortable and not rushed, I felt like he cared to help me with what I was looking for, not another patient in and out the door. He also took the time to describe what he does, how he does it and why he does it the way he does without pressuring you to do what he thinks or wants you to do, its your decision and he voices his opinions, concerns and facts. Having an actual discussion and not a sales pitch, I knew he was the one for me. The office staff is also very nice and helpful, I think I spoke with Jane and Brittany multiple times, with different questions. Every time I have called or visited they have taken good care of me. Everyone's body is different in the way surgery goes, healing process, it can all vary, but so far I am satisfied with everything. The surgery center was nice, the nurses, the anesthesiologist, everything from start to finish was nice and smooth. The healing process is always a bit rough, but I am doing good! Thank you to everyone at APSI and thank you Dr. Olsen! Ohhh and on a BIG side note, I appreciated the night after my surgery Dr. Olsen called me himself to check to see how I was doing. At that time I was good, but the next morning I was in a lot of pain. I unfortunately text him at like 6am with my concerns thinking it would take hours to hear back, if even at all on a Saturday morning and he got back to me within 2 minutes! Who does that!??? A doctor who cares, that's who! I really appreciated that on a Saturday morning, he was so nice to help me and with his suggestions made my problem 10 times better. As a person who works with physicians daily for a living, I have high standards and expectations for those who care for me and my family. I am very aware of the talent pool. Even so, I did my research. That research lead me to Dr. Olson. He and his staff treat people with respect and have exceeded my expectations. In this world of unreturned phone calls and lack of empathy, they are stand out shining stars. Every call, every email has been returned and every question answered. But, best of all Dr. Olson listened to me, respected my wishes, and then surpassed what we expected for results. He found, what others missed... a hernia. I had him repair my hernia, my separated abs, and my mommy tummy. I had my breasts augmented to the size appropriate for my body. Their prep instructions and care was top notch. I followed their instructions and we're grateful for them. The surgical day was smooth and supportive. Dr.Olson and his staff were considerate in their follow up and check ins with me and my husband (my post surgical caregiver). Dr. Olson is the best. I went in for a consultation with him in May for a breast augmentation. He took his time explaining to me the surgery and what my options were. I was concerned with having to have a lift done because I knew this would be an extra cost. Dr. Olson explained to me the benefits of doing a lift given my breast tissue and how the implant would lay if I did not do the lift. This was extremely important as I wanted to look as perfect as possible. Ultimately, I decided on a lift with 500cc silicone implants. I am amazed with the results!!! Dr. Olson did a phenomenal job during surgery and I recovered quickly. The incisions were done so well that the scarring is barely noticeable. In fact, I talked to another woman who had the exact same procedure done at the same time by a different doctor and her scars were much bigger and darker. I definitely made the right choice with Dr. Olson! Dr. Olson and his staff were so professional and friendly through the entire process. They answered all of my questions and explained to me what I should expect step by step. Anytime I had a question, I could call the office and someone there would take the time to answer. From the first phone call I made, I knew I was in the right place for my augmentation procedure. I had originally gone to another plastic surgeon who tried to convince me I needed a lift, as well, which I didn't feel was necessary and made me extremely apprehensive. They also charged me over $700 more than my final quote. I was upset and frustrated, but was also prepared for the procedure. When I found Dr. Olson, he was everything I could have asked for and more in a doctor. He and all of the girls in the office were AMAZING! They listened to my concerns, were sincere and understanding and in 5 minutes of meeting them, I felt calm, relaxed and completely reassured that Dr. Olson was the right choice. I spent most of my life as 32-34 A/B. When I was pregnant and breastfeeding, I finally got to experience fuller breasts and loved them. I knew I would want implants but waited until my daughter would be old enough to understand mommy can't carry her for a while :). Now she's 3.5 and I was ready to finally get implants. I consulted with 3 doctors and Dr. Olson was easily the doctor I felt most comfortable with. He listened to me, listened to my input on what type of implant I was interested in, and assured me that I would love my results. I called Dr. Olson's office to ask about Botox injections. I spoke with Candice, she was so kind and friendly on the phone and very accommodating for scheduling an appointment. At my botox appt with Dr. Olson I brought up my some of my aging neck and facial issues, he gave me some options besides face lift surgery to consider. After thinking about my options I decided to schedule a consultation to discuss a face lift. I went back about a week later and during at my consultation Dr. Olson took his time to listen and answer all of my questions, never made me feel rushed to finish with the appt. I felt very comfortable with him and knew at this appt I wanted him to be my surgeon. Dr. Olson performed my face lift surgery the morning of May 13, the procedure went great! Highly recommend Dr. Olson and his team, who are friendly, professional and caring all at the same time. Dr. Olson is easy to talk to and listens closely to your concerns. I had J-Plasma skin resurfacing, which produces amazing results in terms of eliminating wrinkles (especially those difficult lines around the mouth that nothing seems to address) and tightening and lifting the skin. I had a Halo treatment for neck tightening, which is less dramatic, but still showing results, and an eyelid surgery, which was surprisingly easy and simple, with stitches gone in a week. Dr. Olson also recommended some fat injected from my stomach into my cheekbone area and around the mouth, for a natural plumping that I love. From beginning to end, I felt well taken care of and in good hands. In addition to instilling confidence in Dr. Olson's medical expertise, the clinic also offers very competitive pricing. I was referred to Dr. Josh Olson from a couple friends who went to him for a breast augmentation and lift. I really didn't want to go meet with multiple plastic surgeons so he was the first and only one I went with. I figured if I didn't feel comfortable or something didn't feel right I would then go elsewhere. I went into a consult in January for a breast augmentation. In the consult I was with Patti and she was the sweetest woman. I was nervous and she definitely made me feel comfortable. We started trying on the different sizes of implants and she was very helpful and actually was excited for me when I decided on a size, which made me even more excited. I then met with Dr. Olson and we talked about the procedure and went over any questions I had. After that consult I knew he would do my surgery. My surgery was the end of March and went perfect. I wanted to wait a few months before writing this review. I got my breast augmentation surgery in the beginning of January and now the end on September I've healed nicely and am loving my results. I feel so confident in my skin and forget that i even got surgery! I would recommend Dr.Olson to anyone interested in high quality plastic surgery. The Gilbert office was attentive, warm and very welcoming. If i ever had any concerns or feelings i was unsure of; I would call and a nurse would call me back in the same day with an answer. Dr. Olson was also very personable and would give you honest opinions but would never sway you into something you didn't want. For example i thought 375cc was a perfect size for me when i tried on the bra with the silicon cups but was told the going up a few cc would fit my frame better and they were right. From the first consultation with Dr. Olson, I was very impressed by his staff and the very convenient location of his office. Dr. Olson was very personable and professional. He explained the different options for a breast lift and types of implants and answered all my questions. He did an evaluation to determine my needs and made his recommendations which were not a sales pitch like the ones I had experienced with the other doctors I consulted. The procedure was a smooth and pleasant experience. I saw him before and after surgery and he called me the day after to make sure everything was going okay. He provided me his personal cell phone number so that I could call him at anytime if I had questions or was having issues, which fortunately I did not. I went into his office knowing I wanted a breast augmentation (after nursing 5 kids who can blame me?) but without much in the way of knowledge on the subject. I found Dr. Olson after weeks of reviewing outcomes online. My initial consultation was awesome - the staff, the beauty of the office and my "gut" feeling on my selection. He is very personable and takes time to address and review all of your questions. He isn't one of those doctors that tries to "upsell" you on additional procedures - on the contrary..I thought that I needed a tummy tuck and he told me that I didn't!!! I had previously called around to find out about different techniques and prices for breast augmentation. Most of the places I called they wanted to make an appointment to answer any questions or tell me anything. When I called Dr. Olson's office everything was wonderful. I talked with Candace and she was very helpful and super friendly. I set up my appointment with Dr. Olson and he was just phenomenal, he was not in a rush, he listen and he was extremely helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Josh Olson and his staff. They are kind and professional and take the time to answer all of your questions and concerns. They respond very quickly to email and voicemail. Most of all I am just so happy with my results! I had 4 children and then lost an additional 50+ pounds so I was just not happy looking at my saggy skin. I'm so happy I chose Dr. Olson for my recent breast augmentation and inner/outer liposuction. He is an excellent surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner.
