Wonderful doctor it's been years but she did a surgery I'm still happy with. I will use her on my next.

I had a breast reduction with Dr. Flint four years ago and I was immediately unhappy with my results. I mentioned how unhappy I was at every single follow-up appointment, but was gaslit out of my feelings. It is only within the past year that I've gotten around to doing revision consults with other surgeons -- all of whom were shocked at my results. Several of them made comments asking if my surgeon was new, if this was their first day, if this was their first time doing this procedure, if they just "winged it" without taking any measurements, etc. I've now had multiple other surgeons offer to do my revision for free because of how poorly my procedure was done the first time! I trusted Dr. Flint with my self-esteem, my health, and my life. I repeatedly voiced my concerns to her, and in response, I was horribly mistreated. Dr. Flint insisted that I had unrealistic expectations, that I was being difficult, and that the very obvious mistakes I was seeing were not actually there. She even went so far as to complain about me to the nurses in the hallway right outside of my room. Dr. Flint watched me cry during my follow-up appointments as I expressed how disappointed and mutilated I felt...and she had no empathy for me. She has taken absolutely no responsibility for her mistakes, nor has she made any effort to amend them. Dr. Flint was dismissive, arrogant, cold, and just mean to me from the moment I met her to our last appointment where I left crying and decided to never come back. I thought I could handle her horrible bedside manner because she seemed like a competent surgeon. But I never would've imagined I would end up like this, and dealing with Dr. Flint's contempt whilst experiencing the emotional devastation of a botched procedure made everything much, much worse. I would have more grace for her if she had met me with empathy instead of cruelty. I would not recommend Dr. Flint to anyone. If you're looking for a surgeon, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I don't think Dr. Flint deserved the trust I gave her, and I certainly don't think she deserves your trust. I'm not one to leave reviews, but after receiving confirmation from multiple other surgeons that my results were not just bad--but shockingly bad--it felt too important not to. I would hate to see anyone else suffer the way I have because of Dr. Flint. read more

Dr. Flint was on call at SMH Osborn back in February of 1997. She had the task of putting my forehead back together and did a fantastic job do so. All of my follow ups were in Mesa, she was very kind and thoughtful in dealing with my injuries. It's been a few years Doctor, but I'm very thankful it happened to be you on call. read more

I've been going to see Dr Flint for over three years. I love this place, can't get enough. The staff is incredibly good, and doctor Flint is so good at what she does! Highly recommend! I had a breast reduction August 2021. Needless to say, I noticed some issues after about 5 months. I decided to wait a year, like is suggested, before returning to the office. Needless to say, she did see me several times without charging me as I voiced my concerns. Honestly, I was told so many stories, of which none added up. I kept returning in hopes she would do the right thing and fix the issues. Double talk, I received different stories from many in the office including the doctor but no acknowledging the issues and correcting them. I was quoted more money each time with additional procedures, I only wanted the problems fixed. I understand I would have to pay something, but not the entire amount again, oh with a 20% discount, although more procedures were added to the one I only wanted fixed. Disappointed. I have since went to another doctor and they informed me that according to my records, there was no issues with blood flow, so my breasts could have been smaller like I originally wanted. Further, the new doctor confirmed another complaint, one breast is significantly larger than the other and the nipples are uneven. Here I am, going to pay a new doctor to fix the problems of the original doctor. Having said this, my biggest issues is all the double talk, I just wanted honesty, acknowledgement, and for the issues to be rectified, I for sure did not get that. How disappointing, even more than the additional money, I now have to pay for the mistakes. Here is my advice, make sure you ask if this office has a policy, for example, if things do not go well, how do they rectify the situation. Otherwise, you will be looking for another doctor to fix them. Very irritated and unhappy about the entire situation. read more

My experience with Dr. Patti Flint has been beyond exceptional! I was extremely worried about any health risks of my ruptured implant. Of course, there was also a concern about the physical appearance post surgery. Dr. Flint's knowledge, expertise and care helped me get through a lot of uncertainties. Her entire staff was very accommodating to my busy schedule and addressed all of my questions and concerns. The information booklet that was given to me during my pre-op appointment was so handy! It served as a good reference, especially when surgery can be overwhelming. The surgery turned out better that I expected! I did not experience any pain and had a full appetite later that same evening. It has been 3 weeks since my surgery. I am extremely pleased with the results and so is my boyfriend! I have called three times to make an appointment for a breast augmentation. The first time I called I was told someone would call back. No one did. So I called again and left a message. I called for the third time today and was on hold for just over six minutes with no indication that I would talk to someone soon. It sucks that Dr. Flint has amazing reviews but the office staff seems disorganized. Now I will be going to the next doctor on my list. read more

I went to several surgeons for a consult for breast augmentation. I'm 5 foot and 110 lbs so I wanted a B cup. A different surgeon told me "why would you pay to be flat chested", I cried in my car. Dr. Flint recognized that for my small frame, large breasts would not only be out of proportion but potentially painful/uncomfortable because I'm an athlete. I was so happy with the end result, she gave me the body I wanted. 10 years later, when I went in for a check up, she told me there was zero scar tissue and that if I wanted to leave the implants in another 10 years, that'd be fine. She didn't try to up-sell or pressure me into something unnecessary. I ended up going back for strattice placement and I'm so happy with the results. Dr Flint was incredible. I had a primary breast augmentation and liposuction of my outer thighs. I couldn't be happier. Dr Flint and her office staff were very professional. The new office and surgery center felt like walking into a hotel. The staff was warm and knowledgeable. They answered every little question I had and called to check on me regularly. Dr Flint made me feel so comfortable. Her female perspective was very important to me. I didn't want to be too big or look fat with implants. I had no doubt going into surgery that they would look just as I wanted. She was very professional yet also personable and kind. Her surgical skills are renown in Scottsdale and she didn't disappoint. I have many friends that are patients of hers and I tell all the others to go to Dr Flint. At my post op appt I also received Botox injections in my forehead and around my eyes and a small amount of Juvaderm in my lips. I am thrilled with the results. I look so much younger without looking 'done'. She is very careful to be sure I don't look fake or plastic. I will continue to be a patient of Dr Flint for Botox and filler in the years to come. Of note. I am an experienced nurse at Banner hospital and feel I am a good judge of surgeons bedside manner and skill set. Dr Flint has both. I know you will be happy with your results. read more

Well this review is just for the consult. I am interested in getting a breast lift. SO i looked for plastic surgeons and Dr. Flint had great reviews on yelp so I decided to see her. From the minute I called I felt good. I talked to Kara and I asked lots of questions and never felt rushed. They do charge $50 for a breast surgery consult which will go towards surgery if you use her, but it was worth it. I went for the consult and they took me right on time. Dr. Flint explained everything in detail from the different types of procedures and how the procedure would go from start to finish. I never felt rushed, I was encouraged to ask questions or to call at anytime if I thought of more. I saw Dr. Hiatt in Mesa 2 days later and was not impressed with him at all. I will be using Dr. Flint. Having surgery in March so I will repost on Yelp after that. read more

I cannot begin to express the appreciation I have for Dr. Patti Flint and her staff. I wished to have a breast augmentation since I was a teenager and even more after I had my son. After three consultations with other doctors, I had Dr. Flint perform my tummy tuck in May 2013. I relieved excellent care & my tummy looks great. I loved that she listened to me and did not try to "upsell" me (as all other surgeons did) to a breast enhancement as well, because I was only interested in the tummy tuck. Dr. Flint is exceptional at what she does. She and her staff are nothing but professional and her expertise is unmatched. I am so happy I went to her for my breast augmentation surgery. Lucky is exactly how I feel after finding and choosing Dr. Patti Flint for my breast reduction. After a lifetime of lugging my "G" cups around it was finally time to get some relief. What a horrible experience. I am a cancer survivor that called this office for a consult for reconstruction. The nurse I spoke to was nice and explained that Dr Flint had given up reconstruction and working with cancer patients (!). I guess it wasn't profitable enough... When we talked further she said she might consider it given my particular procedure and asked me to email her a photo (I was totally uncomfortable with this but they wouldn't even schedule a consult with me without it). A week later I was called by someone to set up an appointment but asking me to check coverage with my insurance which I did the same day and called back (covered - my insurance is great). The right person wasn't available so they said they would call me back. Two weeks later - no word. So I call back again, and a third person tells me "Oh we don't do reconstruction and we don't take insurance". WTF. As if having to do this kind of surgery post cancer wasn't hard enough, they wasted nearly a month of my time, had me email a picture and then blew me off. I guess if you want pure cosmetic procedures Dr Flint might be great, but if you really need help and have to rely on insurance go elsewhere. This is why plastic surgeons have a bad name. read more

I visited Dr. Flint in January to discuss my options for breast augmentation. I have always been between the line of an A and a B cup and hated that I didn't have cleavage even with mega-push up bras. I voiced my concerns to Patti and her team, and they listened intently and gave me options that would fit me best. I felt immediately comfortable with her and her team, and they were incredibly helpful and sweet throughout the process. The day of surgery I felt a lot of anxiety about going under general anesthesia, but the staff made me feel right at home and eased my concerns. I spent many years listening to interviews, researching,and saving articles on Dr. Flint before I decided to bite the bullet and go ahead with surgery. Disappointment is putting it mildly. I did complain once (after surgery) because I felt my ear now had a new wrinkle. She immediately pulled out before pictures and blew me off by saying it would fade. She was right it did fade somewhat but my friends laughed at me and said I should have complained how now one ear was bigger, uneven and longer than before. The worst result is I also have two deep holes in my cheeks that I believe are where the stitches were pulled two tight on my face. Maybe with more years they will loosen and fade also but even fillers don't seem to help the holes. I guess I should have taken the hint that when Dr. Flint did not even bother to take after pictures that the NATURAL look she talks about did not occur. The best thing I can say about Dr. Flint is that her office employees were always polite and friendly. read more
