One I think was made with truffles and the other had bacon on it but honestly do not remember the actual combinations. I did find some humor in the fact that the wrist bands were sponsored by a lawyer's office... juuuuust in case you need them from having too much to drink at the festival. LOL.

So many different shady spots whether it's because of the trees or canopies or coveted playgrounds. My 4month old was in her car seat the whole time so I just switched her from one shady spot to another as the older two played. So many different things to play, climb and interact it. Plenty of benches / seating area for adults to sit at. I didn't need to use the bathroom but it is right in the playground which is also helpful. Will 100% be going back.

The tide was out, and we were one of three cars when we pulled in. I decided to see what was going on down by the water side. A guy was fishing, there were a lot of little crabs and I found a large painted rock down on the water's edge. I took some phots and then came up and decided to walk, because the park is not just that parking area, its all that edge water area. There are benches, there are palm trees. It's really just a nice area along Dunedin's water front that make this such a plesant area to be in.

The trails are well maintained and easy to walk, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll. Surrounded by native plants and shady trees, it feels like a little escape from the busier spots nearby. There's just enough nature here to make it interesting without being overwhelming, and it's great for spotting birds and enjoying some quiet time. What I really appreciated was how calm and uncrowded it felt. It's not one of those packed parks it's more of a low-key spot where you can clear your head, take a walk, and just enjoy being outside. Everything was clean and well cared for, which always makes a difference. Plus, it's all 100% free thanks to the family that donated this huge property to the city, the city of Safety Harbor and the many Safety Harbor Garden Club volunteers. How do I know all this? Well, I started volunteering for the Safety Harbor Garden Club two years ago. If you follow the trail to the east, it goes through a beautiful neighborhood area (my favorite area here). If you follow the trail to the west, you can cross the blue bridge that goes over McMullen Booth. I have been a few miles in either direction. I have only really passed through this park. The park is clean, but signs of the age are everywhere. The playground is dated, has peeling paint, and looks well loved. It is still a nice place to take your family or get out for some exercise. If you like to explore, head out on the trail.
